What is going on at this (possibly all?) Homegrowns? There's a letter on the door from the City of Seattle saying their certificate has been revoked, and the store has not been open whenever I've stopped by over the last few weeks. Yet the info online (including Google Maps) points to them being open, business as usual.
I stopped in to order takeout. Prices in store match those on door dash but didn't include the coupon so next time I'll prob order online. The bowl I got was delicious and I'm glad I got dressing in it (not in the side) because flavor infused in it all. I also added bacon. No one was dining in and there was a pile of orders waiting for pickup. I ordered in a computer and only heard 3 words as my order was ready and handed to me. This staff is highly efficient and focused and not used to much customer interaction.

Solid sandwiches with gluten free options! Order through the kiosk. Service could be more efficient
Best experience I’ve had in a long time. I’m completely satisfied with my visit.
Good lunch spot. Takes 5-10 minutes to get food in peak lunch service. Nice fresh option if you’re in a nearby office.

Fantastic food & coffee. Excellent customer service helping with kiosk ordering. Not “cheap” but nothing in Seattle is. Would definitely go back when in the area.

Placed my lunch order for a half sandwich combo. Paid $28 and waited almost an hour. There is no sandwich in the bag just a side salad drink and a cookie. Doordash refunded $13. So I paid $15 for a half salad, cookie and a can soda 😒. I am very displeased. I made an attempt to call the store and could not get through, was caught in a phone tree for 5 mins. I'm hungry and unhappy.
Ordered the Turkey Bacon & Avocado Sandwich with Kettle Sea Salt Chips from Homegrown in Seattle for a quick office lunch via DoorDash. My order was ready in under 10 minutes during a busy lunch hour, perfect for a last-minute lunch option! The sandwich was fresh and hearty, with tender turkey, creamy avocado, crisp greens, and a tasty spread on soft, chewy ciabatta. While the bacon wasn’t crispy, it didn’t affect the overall flavor. The chips were a great crunchy side. If you’re dining in, it is a bit loud.
Great choice for an easy, healthy-yet-hearty lunch when you’re short on time!

Tried the chickpea sandwich at Homegrown on 2nd and Seneca. It’s pretty tasty if you like veggies and that herby flavor. Kinda mushy tho, so not for everyone. I liked it but my friend thought it was too much.
Side salad, all fresh, tasty, looked the dressing. Very busy, many orders, so many bags of food people will come to pick. Busy young lady I asked WiFi password tone was patient explained pointed to sign with password. Next will order sandwich description from ingredients good bet they are tasty. So many people staff and customers still calm quiet.

there were pieces of chicken in the vegan spicy braised tofu bowl I ordered
I never leave reviews because it is not usually necessary. I was treated very poorly by the counter guy today who barked at me for touching the bags they had laid out for lunches. I could not find my order in the many bags left sitting on the counter. He insisted that I have my order number even though I forgot my phone to call it up. He did not try and help me. He was not a pleasant person. So I went back to my office to get my phone to get my number. I came back and with the managers help (at my insistence) we discovered my order was stolen. They did promptly re-make my lunch but if we are honest about service, I got very poor service at 18% gratuity. I will not be buying lunch here again. Good food. Expensive! Bad service.
Self serve machine but a tip requested? Is that typical?. GF overcharge was disappointing for bread. I had the breakfast sandwich which was just fine. Disappointing given their marketing approach with sustainability and food sourcing though.
Homegrown is so delicious but has gotten pricy. Spent $20 the other day for just a sandwich and nothing else.
Door dash order that I went to pickup. Tried looking a the table to make sure order was there. But it was disorganized. So I kept waiting. He was calling out doordash orders and they were not drivers they were regular workers like me!!! So i assumed my order would be called out. Door dash said order would be ready at 12:36 ...waited for 10 min the door dash pickup time kept increasing. I was monitoring it. My lunch is only 30 min. The man reading out the order seem stressed out and unfriendly when I asked him why he didnt read my order out. I was upset the mgr offered me a refund which I appreciate and will be looking out for. I would really appreciate some organized procedure for pickups. Thanks...
