Ordered the Turkey Bacon & Avocado Sandwich with Kettle Sea Salt Chips from Homegrown in Seattle for a quick office lunch via DoorDash. My order was ready in under 10 minutes during a busy lunch hour, perfect for a last-minute lunch option! The sandwich was fresh and hearty, with tender turkey, creamy avocado, crisp greens, and a tasty spread on soft, chewy ciabatta. While the bacon wasn’t crispy, it didn’t affect the overall flavor. The chips were a great crunchy side. If you’re dining in, it is a bit loud.

Great choice for an easy, healthy-yet-hearty lunch when you’re short on time!

Tried the chickpea sandwich at Homegrown on 2nd and Seneca. It’s pretty tasty if you like veggies and that herby flavor. Kinda mushy tho, so not for everyone. I liked it but my friend thought it was too much.

Side salad, all fresh, tasty, looked the dressing. Very busy, many orders, so many bags of food people will come to pick. Busy young lady I asked WiFi password tone was patient explained pointed to sign with password. Next will order sandwich description from ingredients good bet they are tasty. So many people staff and customers still calm quiet.

I never leave reviews because it is not usually necessary. I was treated very poorly by the counter guy today who barked at me for touching the bags they had laid out for lunches. I could not find my order in the many bags left sitting on the counter. He insisted that I have my order number even though I forgot my phone to call it up. He did not try and help me. He was not a pleasant person. So I went back to my office to get my phone to get my number. I came back and with the managers help (at my insistence) we discovered my order was stolen. They did promptly re-make my lunch but if we are honest about service, I got very poor service at 18% gratuity. I will not be buying lunch here again. Good food. Expensive! Bad service.

Self serve machine but a tip requested? Is that typical?. GF overcharge was disappointing for bread. I had the breakfast sandwich which was just fine. Disappointing given their marketing approach with sustainability and food sourcing though.

Homegrown is so delicious but has gotten pricy. Spent $20 the other day for just a sandwich and nothing else.

Door dash order that I went to pickup. Tried looking a the table to make sure order was there. But it was disorganized. So I kept waiting. He was calling out doordash orders and they were not drivers they were regular workers like me!!! So i assumed my order would be called out. Door dash said order would be ready at 12:36 ...waited for 10 min the door dash pickup time kept increasing. I was monitoring it. My lunch is only 30 min. The man reading out the order seem stressed out and unfriendly when I asked him why he didnt read my order out. I was upset the mgr offered me a refund which I appreciate and will be looking out for. I would really appreciate some organized procedure for pickups. Thanks...

Pretty tasty and my favorite is the Whole za'tar smashed chickpea. Great lunch spot if you are nearby. Their breakfast menu is great also.

We got the za’tar chickpea and the steak & blue sandwiches which were excellent. Ciabatta was perfect whee it had a slight crust and so fresh that we didn’t have to gnaw it like other places that use old bread. Steak pieces were incredibly tender with practically no chew. Only ding that the coffee while delicious was only warm not hot which may have been the cool down effect of the pre-served half and half.

While traveling through Seattle, we decided to visit this café, and it turned out to be a truly delightful experience! The cozy atmosphere and beautiful view immediately stood out, complemented by the friendly and attentive staff. The tea was delicious and of excellent quality, while the aromatic soups and salads, bursting with fresh and wholesome ingredients, were absolutely outstanding.

It’s the little things like these that bring joy to life, reminding us of the words from the Scriptures: “I have concluded that there is nothing better for them than to rejoice and to do good during their life, also that everyone should eat and drink and find enjoyment for all his hard work. It is the gift of God” (Ecclesiastes 3:12,13).

If you’re looking for a place to enjoy healthy and delicious food, this is the spot for you. Thank you so much, team, for such a wonderful experience! We hope to visit you again.

The food is great - the chicken sandwiches are my favorites, and I love how they have gluten-free and dairy-free options.

The only problem with Homegrown is how they seem to have trouble getting my orders right. I've ordered takeout 3 times in the past 3 months and two of them were incorrect - once I ordered a steak bowl with no onions and received a veggie bowl full of onions and no steak. And when I ordered the chicken sandwich on gluten-free bread, I received a vegetarian sandwich on a baguette.

I know they're busy during lunch and I do my best to order in advance or go in a bit later to avoid the rush hour. But it's an assembly line with systems in place to minimize human error, so I would expect to receive my orders right at least the majority of the time.

Also, there are always multiple orders on the counter so it's not feasible for me to open the bag and unwrap the sandwich every single time to check if it's the right one, and it's aggravating to have to go back and wait for a new one, or eat something that I don't want/like or that could potentially make me sick.

I honestly hope Homegrown improves their service so customers can trust the product they receive.

This is my absolute favorite place to pop in for a quick lunch! Their menu is amazing. I usually go for the Chicken Pesto or Pastrami sandwich, both of which are divine.

I love homegrown. I used to work at University Village and frequented that one often. The speed and efficiency of this location is a much higher quality.

Their bfast sandwiches are incredible - can't go wrong with the avocado, egg, cheese sandwich (the hot sauce on it is delicious)! Their chicken pesto is a favorite among my friends. I also love the chicken matcha bowl - so good!
