I usually love Homegrown, but I will never go back to this location in U Village. My wife and I walked in Friday night at 7:15pm. The place was empty. Not one customer. There was one employee with his back turned to us talking threw the window to the two kitchen staff. All three glanced over at us a few times, but didn't want to help us. They were obviously annoyed we came in 45 minutes before closing. After standing at the register for over 5 minutes, trying to get their attention, we left. Not once did any of the employees ask us if we wanted to order. With this kind of customer service, it's no wonder why they had zero customers and all the other restaurants in U Village were packed.

I would definitely not recommend ordering takeout or delivery from here. Homegrown gave my order to someone else and took no responsibility for the lost order. I ordered on Doordash. Never relying on this business again.

Friendly service in a cute atmosphere. The food was pretty good, possibly a tad overpriced but it's U Village, to be expected. I felt satisfied with my grains bowl in flavor, amount, and quality of ingredients. The breakfast sandwich was amazing! Very flavorful. They open at 10, and are right outside a play area if you have kids that need to set some energy out while you recharge with a coffee and some food!
