Honor Mexicano does their name so much justice! Came on a Thursday night, had absolutely delicious enchilada and burrito plates, the rice is so flavorful, the beans delicious, the beef and colorado fillings are just perfect. Inside the atmosphere is casual, just a touch of romantic classiness, the music is enjoyable for everyone, and they had the NFL game on the TVs in each corner of the restaurant- on mute. This is exactly the kind of restaurant I will go to over and over and over again. It's nice enough for date night, but you can also keep an eye on the game if you want. The service was just perfect- friendly and fast, not rushed at all. Still can't believe how delicious this food is, try it out! for real
Location: I didn't have problem finding parking close by on the street.Drinks: I like the drinks, though there are no prices on the menu for them so you don't know how much you'll get charged.Food: Food isn't really that good. The chips and salsa that they gave us was really not good (tasted like it's old chips and salsa was way too watery). Dinner was ok, but non of us were impressed by it. Also, items in the dinner menu are waaaay overpriced.
I ordered the ground beef chimichanga and it was quite delicious. It comes with beans and rice. Very reasonable prices and a very friendly staff.
Loved what they did with the place. New owners new look food is good served nice and hot service is great love the kick to the salsa but what I loved the most about this place the other night I was in there and a homeless man came to the door the gentleman inside the restaurant said give me a couple minutes went into the kitchen got him some food and plastic ware and took him the food it made my heart so happy. Times are tough and if you can give that's amazing in itself so thank you for that. I will forever be a customer
Hands down best Chile relleno I've ever had, chips were fresh and hot, the rice was perfectly cooked and high quality, salsa was great atmosphere is very nice. You can tell by the presentation and the quality that the chef and owner really loves his food and puts a lot into it.I want to say the best Mexican restaurant in Seattle, and I e lived here all my life. I can't wait to try the whole menu, I'll be spending more money here.
Love Honor Mexicano! We were regulars at Jalisco's, the previous restaurant at this location and miss it dearly but Honor is a great and different Mexican restaurant. I'd describe it as a more modern interpretation of regional Mexican food. They did a great remodel of the space AND I love what they did to the menu. It definitely reminds me of some of the restaurants that I've been to in Puerto Puerto Vallarta, La Paz, Talum... I love their Aquachiles and the Habanero Camarones and have not been disappointed by any of their offerings, including the margaritas, especially the big ones! Thanks
Delicious ? food.Nice staff.Clean and classy place.Next time we are in town...we will be back!
I had a pork chimichanga which was fantastic. The wrapper soaked up delicious juices and left me so happy. The refried beans are a dream. Will absolutely return - new favorite place!
Visiting Seattle for the first time we are skeptical of NW Mexican restaurants, but this place is great! Love the decor, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the food is authentic! Try a sunrise or sunset margarita!
Food was delicious and authentic. Atmosphere was welcoming and lovely. I would recommend to anyone!!
Amazing food! And the staff & owners are great! As Texans, this is our go to spot in Seattle.
Impromptu meet up after work, and a really great experience. Food were amazing, I cad the pollo asada, service was excellent, atmosphere was homey, a good time was had by all. I'm so glad I work in South Park now, so I can come here more frequently. I cannot recommend this place enough. What a diamond in the rough. Lots of folks have raved about Honor's in the past, but you have to come here yourself to understand the hype. Totally worth it.
We eat here weekly and love it. The staff is super friendly and the food is consistently great. Considering south Seattle has limited Mexican spots that are actually good I would highly recommend honor. The prices and portions are fair too unlike Fonda. High recommend!
There’s a reason this place has a 4.9 rating on Google. It is absolutely stellar. It’s a gem in Seattle/South Park. The food is perfect, the drinks are fresh and it’s obvious they care about what they are doing. Second time this week! And the salsa is spicy and stellar.
Very fresh, very kind people, super tasty food. Definitely a place I’ll be back many times.
