Hook and Plow is located inside the Marriott Waterfront in Seattle and surves as its restaurant. This place offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. We only ate breakfast and dinner there and were not impressed. The verity for breakfest is very limited with no vegetables, a very limited cheese options, only one type of yogurt, only scrambled eggs (omelets are extra), potatoes, bread and pastries. Coffee cost $6 per person and so is the orange juice. For dinner, there is a nice selection of option but they are quite expensive. If it is raining and other options are hard to come by, go there but otherwise I believe there are better options.

The food and experience was atrocious. The clam chowder took over an hour to come and when it arrived it tasted like if someone spilled a salt shaker into a puddle of milk. Bad time don’t go

I mean I don’t even know where to begin. The list of things I do for my money back from this place is endless. I Would rather get my credit card stolen then pay for the The “skuna bay salmon salad” ever again. And the “hook and plow burger” Might have been the worst burger in America, I would rather have a vegan burger. And to Top it all off Our waitress Katie was just giving us a death glare and attitude the whole meal, and then wants a tip?!?!? Please just go any where but here, I knew I should’ve Got chipotle

The meal that I had was undercooked, bad service, and seemed like the customers felt like a burden to the waiters.

To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. I honestly don’t really know where to begin. The service was absolutely pitiful and the food felt like they threw it together stuff they found in the garbage right outside. As a tourist I can confidently say do not waste your time going here. Place is almost as bad as Geno smith.

Chicken was horrifically undercooked and when remade it was as tough as a brick.

Went to this place thinking it would be a convenient meal. Total opposite. Just brutal service and the food was mid at best. Just do better truly.

The staff were amazing. So friendly and attentive. They made the time to chat with us and make us feel at home. They answered all of our menu questions with precision.
The food. I had the steak my wife had the tortellini. I asked for rare to blue and I got what I asked for. The outer crust of the steak was perfectly charred while the inside remained cool and springing the peppercorn sauce added a new depth of flavor and spices to the already perfectly seasoned steak. Every bite melted perfectly in my mouth creating a wonderful eating experience. The fries were a perfect gold hue with a fluffy inside and a crispy outside. No mushyness at all. The tortellini sauce was rich and flavorful with a generous helping of beef and cheese inside every bite I can not say enough good things for this restaurant. To be able to enjoy good simple food was a welcomed treat after dealing with the overly complicated dishes of other places near by. This is dining done right.

We were staying at the Marriott and decided to eat at the hotel restaurant for the convenience. It was possibly a mistake, as it took us 5-10 minutes to get seated and another 10 minutes to order. It took another 20+ minutes for the food to arrive. In general, it just seemed the restaurant was understaffed. The food was actually very good though, but typical of bar food. We ordered a sausage pizza, a burger and a chicken sandwich. It was rather pricey for what you got, and we could (and should have) likely have gotten the same, if not better, quality food at a local restaurant or pub.

Food was terrible and grossly overpriced. Service was equally bad - long delays and server just comment “I can't control the kitchen”. We were just waiting for a pice of cheesecake.
One of the best-tasting omelettes I've had anywhere.

Food: overpriced and low quality, I was expecting at least decent quality for a Marriott. Brioche French toast was dry, superficially egged and not soft, just two thick slices of cinnamon stale brioche. Barely any berries.
We also ordered the All American breakfast: eggs and potatoes were great. Bacon was dry, nor crunchy neither warm. It was probably siting on a warmer for a while.
The tea came without lemon or honey.
Service
Our server Chris didn’t even come to check whether we were satisfied etc., he just brought the check. WOW.
Ambiance
The restaurant had a good ambience, but multiple places seemed dirty, including our table which looked almost dusty.
The walls were dirty and seems like they weren’t cleaned after other people came to the table.
Dietary restrictions: They did not ask about dietary restrictions when we arrived
