I was staying at the hotel and had breakfast here one morning. I ordered the corned beef and hash because I was delighted to learn they made their corned beef in house. It was delicious. Service was fantastic as well. The view from the table was lovely and it was a weekday so it was pretty quiet.

The off the menu items were delicious. If you do their breakfast buffet though tasty, both times we ate the food was cold or luke warm.

During our stay at the Marriott Seattle, we were thrilled to find that Hook and Plow is conveniently attached to the hotel, perfect for a hearty breakfast before heading to the port for our cruise.
The selection was fantastic. We enjoyed fluffy scrambled eggs, crisp bacon, juicy breakfast sausages, and tender shredded chicken. There were golden breakfast potatoes with a light crunch, perfectly browned French toast (with warm syrup and butter balls ready to melt on top), and even a flavourful egg white frittata packed with veggies. The buffet also offered a fresh fruit station with berries and pineapple, plus plenty of toppings like shredded cheese, green onions, and whipped butter for customizing our plates. Everything was hot, fresh, and beautifully presented.
What really made the meal unforgettable was the service. Our server Angelo deserves a huge shout-out, he was genuinely friendly, attentive, and made sure every detail was perfect. From coffee refills to checking that we had everything we needed, Angelo went above and beyond and made us feel like valued guests.
If you’re staying at the Marriott or simply looking for a delicious breakfast spot near the Seattle waterfront, Hook and Plow is a must. Great food, top notch service, and the convenience of being right inside the hotel earn it a solid five stars from us!

Food and service is good but food takes forever to cook. The restaurant was empty and it still took 45 minutes to get our food. And it’s very expensive.
Overall this is an extremely poor restaurant experience. The food is poorly prepared. We had both the buffet and menu order. Both were equally bad. Overcooked eggs and potatoes that show the real lack of effort this restaurant puts in. In addition to poor food it’s quite possible the service was worse. This restaurant would not be open 6 months in a competitive market. It’s a good thing they have a captive audience

It was a great breakfast! It's the hotel restaurant inside the Seattle Marriott Waterfront. We thought about ordering from the set menu, but decided that the buffet breakfast would be the better value. It was a good decision.
They had just about everything for even the pickiest eater. My favorite items were the fried home potatoes and crispy thick-cut bacon. We were both impressed with the crispy and tasty potatoes. My husband had to get a second helping. The pastries were also very good, as well as the coffee.
The service was great. Our cups were never empty. The coffee was topped off when needed. They checked on us often. I wouldn't hesitate to go back if ever in the area again.

If I could give more stars I would! How lucky I was that the staff here could be flexible and be sure my special dietary requirements were 100% met! Manager Jared. Served Ashly. And Cook BJ created ample portion sizes and they were so kind and helpful and even remembered each night of my stay at the Marriott Hotel what I needed! I eat extremely healthy and their accommodating my requests really made my experience here a win win!

The breakfast here is unbelievable!!! I had biscuits with chorizo gravy, my wife had the breakfast sandwich and our daughter had the American breakfast. The breakfast potatoes are out of this world delicious. Great chai latte and the corned beef hash is killer. Service is a little slow and the price is a little elevated but you definitely get what you pay for in portion size and quality. There’s a buffet as well.

We were hesitant to eat here because it’s at the hotel and hotel food is usually meh. BUT was I wrong! We had breakfast here twice and both times it was amazing. (Hint- Ask for Hank. He’s the best server!) The bacon and sausage were cooked an seasoned perfectly (we like a good crispy bacon slice). The potatoes were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside- just right. The Brioche FrenchToast was amazing! Like eating dessert for breakfast. We ordered a custom omelette and it was cooked to perfection!
Great food and staff. Worth every penny.

I enjoyed the breakfast buffet, but the service was a bit slow, particularly with refills. I also noticed some fruit bugs in the raspberries, which I mentioned to the manager. She apologized, but it might be a good idea to ensure the fruits are washed thoroughly.

Huge serving! Great, strong coffee. Very clean restaurant inside Seattle Marriott waterfront. The staff are nice and polite.
I came back for dinner with a cup of clam chowder. Plenty of clams!

The eggs and toast were doused, swimming and dripping in butter and oil. Completely overpriced.
