I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The service was below average—our server was not attentive, and we felt like an afterthought the whole time. To make matters worse, she automatically added a 20% tip to our bill without mentioning it or asking us, which felt completely inappropriate, especially given the level of service we received. I always tip based on service quality, and this just left a bad impression. Definitely wouldn’t return.

The food is really fresh and authentic… perfect falafels… in a clean and aesthetically pleasing environment… even the music was perfectly curated to the atmosphere.

Amazing food and really great service. We got the vegetarian plate with hummus, eggplant, rice, falafel and a side of salad. The om Ali is one of the best desserts I've had - definitely coming back.

The lady that took our order suggested we try the falafel, stating "we have the best falafel". Now I'll preface my review with the fact that I am not a Falafel Expert, but I have had lots of falafels from all sorts of places around Seattle . I even made my own from scratch once, which were terrible.
When she brought out our plates, I was excited to try out this supposedly superior falafel, if not just a little skeptical. As my fork pierced the skin of the first of two plump nuggets on my platter, I was greeted by what I can only describe as the most vibrant and lifeful greens I have ever experienced in my entire life. Tendrils of steam wafted lazily from the falafel, almost whispering tantalizing promises to my olfactory senses.
Biting into the falafel felt almost a stage of its own, neither crunchy nor squishy, but yielding to my teeth a texture both firm, yet acquiscent. But the flavor, dear readers, the flavor was indescribable. Saying that it was the best falafel I've ever had seems like an injustice. My mouth felt as though I had been upper-cut by a heavyweight boxer, but instead of my mouth being filled with pain and regret, it was filled with the most delicious falafel, imbuing my tongue with magics most flavorous and delightful.
I am glad that my original doubt was completely shattered by the Hummus Cafe's execution of the perfect falafel. I am slightly sad, though, as I feel I have a new standard of falafel which I feel no one else can possibly achieve.

I ordered the chicken shawarma with baba ganoush and fries. Everything was delicious, my only regret was not ordering a larger portion of the baba ganoush! The place was warm and inviting

Love the remodel! My wife and I came here for the first time today and it was delicious and the folks were really nice. Would definitely recommend, especially their falafel. As far as drinks go, the mint limeade and Turkish coffee were amazing.

Nice to see this location refurbished and reopened. They just need some signage to help attract passersby. I ordered the gyro plate and was quite satiated. Great portion of gyro meat, hummus and rice.

Excellent sandwiches so reasonably priced. Recent remodel boasts nice indoor seating with large windows. Very clean. Nanny and her husband (the owners) are very nice and attentive. Falafal and eggplant sandwich yum!

We got gyros, falafel, and salad catered for a birthday party after getting takeout here. The food was incredible! Very good portions and all the guests loved it and asked where we had gotten it from. Happy we went with Hummus cafe for our event! And needless to say, the hummus was incredible.

I like the new renovation. The food is exactly what you pay for, average. But it’s reasonably priced. Customer service could be a little bit better. I feel like they should hire someone a little more friendly than two old grumpy grandparents. Y’all are way too old to be working like that still you should really hire some employees and have your money be working for you. You guys are obviously pretty cheap. And that comes through in your food. You don’t give nearly enough pita bread for the amount of hummus you give out. And you don’t even put cucumbers in your gyros, which is basic every gyro should have cucumbers in it
