Great sandwiches, great ice cream, and an excellent selection of European grocery items and candy! The Nick & Nora sandwich is my fave! Their prosciutto is also the best. It is usually very busy, so expect a long wait if you order sandwiches in store.! I really wish they were on UberEats or DoorDash but I can understand why they aren’t. The parking is difficult in this area, but this place is famous in West Seattle and for good reason, so worth it!Parking: Easiest to park in the paid lot or behind the building then access from the back.

Hands down, the best ice cream in Seattle, maybe even Washington State. If that’s not enough to convince you to make a stop, I don’t know what is!

Tasty sandwich. Good coffee. Warm and comfy on a blustery day. Lots of imported foods and condiments that I did not purchase, but now I know where to get canned haggis and salmiak pastilles.

I walked in got a sandwich and drove back to work. They wrapped my Italian sandwich in plastic wrap so it was very soggy. How the heck are you going to wrap a sandwich in plastic wrap?

I have been here twice now (I live in Kenmore, and I went back on purpose!) As an East-coaster, a food deli sandwich is one of those things you have to hunt for out here. I have now had two great sandwiches. I'm looking forward to my next trip!

There once was a… I’m kidding. This is a cute little German deli pumping out some high quality food.Today I had the chicken pesto panini and the “Nick and Nora” panini. Cost for the two half sandwiches was a little over $20. The question becomes… we’re the sandwiches worth the cost. Half sandwich is $9 and a whole is $13. So, I’ll judge this based on those prices, today I wanted to try two new ones. Is it worth $20, no… I can only think of two in all the world that are. Is it worth buying a whole of either for $13, YES! They are both delicious. The reason I know of husky deli was because of the ice cream, and this never disappoints. Today we had caramel ?… and I don’t know how much it costs, BECAUSE I DONT CARE ?They have a ton of stuff to try out, a lot of European candies, cookies, condiments, etc. I didn’t even mention the meat case. Even if you don’t live in West Seattle, it’s worth checking out.Parking: Big paid parking lot behind building. Expensive to pay so I usually park on the street in front or behind.Kid-friendliness: Kids love this place, kids run the place too and they are all helpful, respectful and nice. I don’t think I’ve ever been here and kids not been running around the place.

Sandwiches are good but service was extra slow. I got to know the people working more by their personal conversations. I also saw a couple food safety violations but I’m sure it’s not a big deal. I don’t get the hype and will probably go elsewhere for a

My wife and I have been coming here for years for their ice cream. Love the flavors, always happy to wait in the long summer lines, and always have so many good things to say. We went in this evening, first time back since having our son and we got our usual ice cream scoops.Waffle machine is broken, okay disappointing but usually is the case whenever we come. However, we were served a child’s scoop. We usually don’t make a big deal out of things but, to be served a child’s portion and to be charged for full price is ridiculous.Prior to this past fall we would come here pretty often so we know what is their norm and what is not. This was not it. Which is disappointing.Paid 11 dollars, for the smallest ice cream scoops. If you want your money’s worth for desert, this is not the place.
