Excellent food. It's more of a take out place. It helps if you can use their app.

Service is great but be carefull with the teriyaki plate since it's loaded with the sweet teriyaki sauce it's almost un eatable., half way though the plate i was sick with the sweetness of it.

I'm sorry but I feel compelled to comment on the quality... the sushi is not good. I'm a neighborhood resident and we'll order take out from here if we have no other solid plans or options. It's the last resort in the area I'm sorry to say. The main entrees are okay. Get the udon or ramen soups. I'm picky about sushi. I would suggest the sushi chef lay off drizzling the sweet sauces on the rolls. It really makes them inedible in the end. The rolls have tasted like that almost every time I've ordered from there. Sweet and just not good. Otherwise, order noodles or soups and you're good to go.

They make great Katsu, the prices are reasonable and staff are very friendly, and they accommodated for my food allergies, even double checking with me. Wonderful place!

I've eaten at this place numerous times - friendly and thoughtful staff, relatively fast service, and good food. A little pricey for what you get but certainly worth stopping by if you're in Magnolia.
The "okay" rating from the health inspector is a little sketchy, not gonna lie, but I've never gotten sick here.
The place has small town sushi shop vibes, and is great if you're in the area. Maybe not worth traveling a great distance for but still quite good.

Very friendly and food is decent for a Teriyaki restaurant. They give good portions, provide a nice salad and good amount of rice. My only complaint is that the sauce is very sweet, and they put a ton on the meat. The inside of the restaurant is still setup for Covid, so it feels a little cramped inside and little dirty. I would recommend getting the food to go and not eating inside. The people working inside are very friendly and work to make the process fast.

I went to dine in for lunch two days in a row. The first experience was better than the second due to the fact that I liked what I ordered better, standard Udon v. curry Udon, and the service I received. When I asked what curry Udon was at my second visit, I was just told it was a bit spicier and more of Koren preparation. I did not know it wasn't a soup style. Oh well. I did not finish my curry Udon and asked for a to go box. When I left the restaurant, I forgot the box but came back to grab it within 1 min or less. The server had already thrown it away and just offered a sorry. I would have appreciated a slightly better gesture, but I understand. Perhaps consider giving a repeat customer half of another item. I have also ordered Salmon Teriyaki to go, which was very good.

I was hesitant with the “okay” rating from the health department, but took a chance as this is close to my work. I will eat here again. It is a little bit expensive, however when I received the portion of chicken teriyaki and the egg rolls I ordered, it was enough for two meals, so worth it to me. Chicken was not too dry, or drowning in sauce. Egg rolls were so fresh and delicious as well and the rice was fresh and a very large portion. Salad was crisp and served separately in a takeout container, so it did not get soggy/heated from the entree. The staff greeted each guest and thanked each one while I was there, and was VERY friendly.

Food is good but the wait was ridiculous. I walked in to make an order to go. While I was waiting I watched others walk in, make a decision on what they wanted to eat, order, then get their food and be about halfway through their meal before my good was done.
If you go, just don't expect it to be quick.

this place has my favorite tofu teriyaki in the city: small pieces with a nice crunch and great sauce, as well as broccoli, bell peppers, and baby corn.
This used to be a great go to for our family for years. Ordered a bento lunch today and the tempura was inedible. The salmon teriyaki was completely overcooked and the chicken teriyaki was swimming in sauce. I wondered why they just had an OKAY rating on the window.

I have ordered three times from this establishment. The first two times the quality and quantity was very questionable for the price. I will not be back and I suggest to future customers look for a better place for sushi. I think they are still in business because they are the only sushi place in Magnolia. So sad!!!
