This place is beautiful. Lovely decor with ok music. Looks a little larger in pictures, small in person. The drinks were pretty but weren’t very strong, hardly had any alcohol for the price. We finished them in less than 5 mins. The staff was polite and attentive but it took very long to get our food orders in and the wait for our food was also long. Assuming, this was done to get us to order more drinks (we didn’t). Mac and cheese was served on a plate the size of an ashtray. Was seated close to the restroom, there should be a sign posted telling customers to close the door after use since many lack common sense and would just leave it wide open while people are eating/drinking. Didn’t really get a New Orleans vibe here. Overall, a cute place to hang with friends or solo. Wouldn’t make it a date night.
New Orleans style speakeasy in West Seattle - Hell yes! True speakeasy style - the entrance is via an alley at the back side of California Avenue. Walk in and it is a nice warm cozy modern speakeasy with good amount of seating. Love the decor this place has to offer. We just wanted to try their cocktails this time so we ordered the Sazerac (the best), Vieux Carre (good), Manhattan (good) & Daisy margarita (was okay). Ocean - the bartender was very friendly and he does a very good job at churning these wonderful cocktails. Next time I would love to stop by this place to try out their food. I can imagine this place being super packed on weekends. See you soon on Gumbo Sundays. Welcome to the neighborhood!
Top secret posh location for cocktails that will dazzle your taste buds and inspire riveting conversation. If you're on the fence, let me make up your mind for you. YES. Yes you want to visit In The Heart.
What a special place. Who doesn’t love a secret bar? My first time here I was afraid that it wouldn’t be easy to find. Little hearts painted on the steps clued me in. What a cute touch! The bar is divided into 2 areas. The bar perfectly situated in between the two areas. The lower area is equipped with cozy couches and moody lighting. The upper area has high tops and bar seating, back dropped by a gorgeous and texture-adding IG worthy floral feature wall. Gold stools add another element of shine along with the chandeliers hanging above. My friends and I are not a quiet bunch, but the acoustics in the space seemed to be perfection. No one seemed to be bothered by anyone else’s conversations.
Love this store, the owner and the speakeasy! Five stars, put this on your Seattle must-do list!
Lovely staff and service..Ocean and Janae were amazing and super friendly. Drinks were fabulously delicious and fresh. Had the best time for my best friend's birthday!
Fantastic service. Great environment. Made me feel special on my birthday!
A really fun litte bar with a kool bartender.
I happen to discover this gem when I entered a clothing store in the junction. So glad I tried it!!! I've been twice already and I love the ambiance, the decoration. Jané is so kind and friendly. The sangria is superb, the sazerac is strong! Can't wait to go back soon to this cozy and sexy gateway.
This place is really impressive. The cocktails are fab, and as a southerner who is pretty snobby about New Orleans-style dishes, the food was top-notch. Also, music was perfection. Y’all need to go!

It’s insanely cute and intimate. Great craft cocktails and chill cool vibe. Perfect for a date night.
Fun spot, solid cocktails, tasty food and fantastic service. Thank you!
My favorite hangout place in the Junction! Love the classy yet comfy vibe, great music, delish drinks, friendly and fun staff (who doesn't love Ocean!?), and that seafood dip
This was an excellent night out for my wife and I! Great drinks, and all of their food was fantastic. The rice and beans were a stand out, but the creole dip and muffuletta sandwich were great as well.
Beautiful and cozy space with excellent cocktails and amazing food. We stayed late to try the rice and beans and it was to DIE for. Can't wait to come back!
