I was so sure I wouldn't need to write a review for Indi Chocolate. Nothing makes something more unremarkable than an unsatisfied claim like "best hot chocolate you've ever had!"

Most places that try to get a "best hot cocoa ever" are eager to overwhelm the senses with sweetness or concentrated flavor. Indi understands the only thing that matters-- carefully roasted, freshly ground, absolutely exquisite cocoa.
If you want a hot mug of Dutch cocoa powder mixed with Hershey's special dark and milk, this might not scratch your itch. If you want to experience the subtle beauty artisan cocoa offers-- Indi Chocolate is going to be a good time.

I was visiting from out of town and stopped by this spot in the afternoon. Unfortunately, the service we received was awful and left a really bad taste in my mouth. I was with two other people and someone in our group inquired about one of the drinks on the specials menu and what was in it. The cashier didn't know (which is an issue in itself) and when she asked the barista, the barista snapped at us and was super rude. She never answered our question and just said the drink "was good" and wanted to know what we were worried about. The cashier apologized on her behalf and said they were super busy but it was super uncomfortable. We already ordered two hot chocolates so decided to just keep those and the third person in our party ended up getting nothing. When we finally got our hot chocolate, it was lukewarm and just ok. I never want to bash a small business, but I was really caught off guard by the service here and would not return or recommend.

Do not have chocolate mailed from this shop.. packaged was not properly packaged and all the chocolate was broken in pieces.. so disappointing

We got a cup of chocolate drink and a cup of mocha coffee with a lemon bar and a waffle. Drinks and sweets are tasty and awesome. The owner of the cafe is very friendly and nice. We will definitely come back to this cafe!
