Worth the hype? I’d say yes. It was really good and unique. I didn’t love waiting in line in the cold and rain but it was good. I’m always up for some a good ice cream.

The Hokkaido Milk ice cream is INCREDIBLE! The strawberry sauce is to die for, naturally sweet/flavored! The MBD with mochi, brown sugar sauce and the soybean powder is now officially my favorite “flavor” to add to ice cream. Walk up window was fast, friendly and convenient.

Indigo Cow serves their Japanese milk soft serve through a service window by Secret Fort. The ice cream is absolutely delicious and the mochi topping just the right amount of chewiness! Nothing overly sweet. Perfect dessert for our Secret Fort dinner.

So smooth, creamy, and delicious. Having eaten Hokkaido ice cream in Osaka - this place is exactly the same (I know they import milk from Hokkaido and the owner is from Sapporo and owns the attached Yoroshiku and Secret Fort). 10/10 take all my friends who have visited Japan here after eating at Secret Fort or Yoroshiku.

We ate on the yakitori side of the restaurant, and the skewers were delicious. The server was very helpful helping us decide on the flavors for each type. Very friendly atmosphere. Minus one star for the exiguousness which makes it hard to put your winter coat anywhere if you're sitting on a stool. The other two parts of this place are the ice cream parlor, and the ramen restaurant.

I dropped by after ramen next door. I was immediately told they were out of nearly every topping, lol, but that's ok because I kinda just wanted plain soft serve anyway. I got the Hokkaido milk flavor and it was VERY good, very creamy and sweet-but-not-too-sweet. Definitely going to try it again sometime with toppings.

Sooo good! The soft serve has kind of a cheese taste to it, like when you get boba with salt cheese foam on top, but the ice cream version. You have to get the extra toppings like strawberry or the mitarashi dango.

Dont come after 9pm on Friday. We got there at 9:03 on Friday, but they said they are closed without any further explanation even though it says they open until 10pm on Friday.

I ordered Hokkaido milk, soybean flour toppings, and shiratama (without brown sugar syrup). Unfortunately, perhaps because it caters to Americans, the base soft-serve ice cream itself was a bit too sweet 😅 I would have enjoyed the milky taste more if I had reduced the sugar a little more. . .
