I've had ice cream from this place before and really enjoyed it, but I just had the sweet potato creme brulee ice cream and it was one of the tastiest desserts I've ever had. Perfect amount of everything, perfect balance, so tasty, I just wish I had ordered a regular size instead of a small.

Absolutely magical experience- got the yaki-imo bruleed Hokkaido soft serve with mitarashi dango and it was so roasty and toasty, caramelized, and balanced. Unlike any ice cream flavorings I've ever had, so good.

Ordered a valentine’s special and Hokkaido milk ice cream with strawberry sauce and dango. I like the flavours, not too sweet, perfect for a date night pick up. It wasn’t any different or special but it was a good ice cream. The sauce was dripping all over as can be seen in the picture- so it wasn’t convenient at all. I had to rush through the whole ice cream in chilly winter (there’s only outdoor seating available)Maybe I’ll try again in summer- this time in a cup and update this review?

Was underwhelming. I went after dinnertime and there was a line, waited maybe 15 minutes. The soft-serve consistency was on the watery side and not very firm. They were out of the sweet potato topping. The mochi and brown sugar topping did taste good and added to the textures well. But if you’ve had Hokkaido soft serve in Japan, Korea, Taiwan etc, don’t expect this to meet that standard. This is fine is you’re in the area and want dessert, but I would not go out of my way to come here. Lastly, the night we went they were busy and the cashier rushed our order and got it wrong but hopefully you don’t have that experience.

On their social media they claim they are the only Hokkaido milk ice cream in the US. Can't confirm that but the single flavor of Hokkaido is quite delicious. It doesn't fully taste like the ones I've had in Japan but if this is the closest thing to it that we can get in Seattle, I'm still very happy.

Hokkaido ice cream with matcha sauce 8/10! Mochi was ok

The yaki imo brûlée. It is the plain Hokkaido milk soft serve with a layer of mashed roasted white Japanese sweet potato sprinkled with sugar and bruleed with a torch right at the window. Absolutely perfect. Not too sweet. Fresh milky, creamy roasty sweet potato, crispy caramelized layer. Very mellow delicate flavor. Reminds me a little of a roast sweet potato casserole with toasted marshmallows at Thanksgiving. It is window-service. Great neighborhood to stroll while eating. Or enjoy at one of the nearby parks - Meridian Playground or Wallingford Playfield.

We ordered Hokkaido ice cream with cup $6 and add $2 for mochi+ brown sugar syrup! The Hokkaido flavor is not that creamy and milky as what we expected.

We ate Hokkaido soft serve every day when skiing in Japan and I was so excited when I heard about Indigo cow. And it did not disappoint! The ice cream is delicious; the milk flavor is just the right amount of sweet. The cones were red and green for the holiday season. I can't wait to go back!

TL;DR - expensive, does not taste much like Hokkaido milk, watery soft serve, very disappointed. Food - $6 for Hokkaido milk and an extra $2 for the Dango. $9 for the yam creme brûlée with Hokkaido milk soft serve underneath. They burnt the top of the creme brûlée too much and the black part was very bitter. The soft serve is watery and doesn't really taste anything like Hokkaido milk (it's just a tiny bit milkier than normal soft service but it's hard to tell). It still tasted good, but nothing like it was advertised and was a subpar soft serve in general if you forget the Hokkaido milk part. Will not be back!Service - the lady was on her phone and didn't see me through the walk up window for a minute or two. Other than that it's standard service for a walk up window. Ambiance - nothing because there is no seating.

Cute and aesthetic soft serve. Apparently it's Hokkaido milk so no wonder it tastes good. You can customize the soft serve. Also, order at the outside corner because the inside is for a different restaurant.

I like this place. Reminds me off off Hokkaido milk soft serve from Japan. I had the Hokkaido milk soft serve in a charcoal cone. Would recommend!

A cute little hole-in-the-wall spot in Wallingford serving up DELICIOUS Hokkaido milk ice cream -- it's a walk up window, and they have a super limited menu. The staff here is really nice and efficient, and we didn't have to wait too long in line. The ice cream is SO soft and creamy and I got the mochi and toasted sesame and would highly recommend -- the mochi were soft and chewy, and the nuttiness from the sesame was... chef's kiss. The subtle flavors go together so swell and it's not overwhelmingly sweet. I love and I'll definitely be back!
