Be ready to pay a 20% “service fee” that does not go to the server/bartender. Our server was terrible, we had to look for her every time and we ended up getting a different server to check out. Server never checked on us after getting our food, we had no forks, napkins, or water. She didn’t even offered us a second drink. What a waste of a cool concept to be ruined by that female server.

the vibe was great and the food was phenomenal, but the service was awful. Our waiter seemed drunk and messed up our order. Another waiter claimed, ‘This is what I have on the list,’ but we know it was busy and tried to be understanding. Still, being drunk on the job is unacceptable.

They also added a 20% ‘business tip’ that didn’t include the actual tip, which is crazy. I’ve been here before and never got charged that, so I don’t know what changed. Overall, the service really sucked. LOOOLLL

All the staff were lovely. So they made the experience very welcoming. But the cocktails were not very good. Mostly just boozy syrup. And the decor was not very well done. The lights were too bright and the whole experience was more chain restaurant than high end cocktail bar.

The vibe feels like a cozy, dimly lit speakeasy with quirky rum bottles that add a playful, relaxed charm

Overall it was an ok experience. Server mentioned that restaurant retains the 20% service charge, and that the servers don't see any of it. Which seemed odd!

It's an enjoyable one time experience

Unacceptable service from our waitress who was having a bad day or something. Like ruined the whole vibe for the group we were with. Not sure what we did to make her unhappy. Other than that it’s a cool bar with fun drinks.

Dinks were way overpriced for what you got. Went in thinking they had craft cocktails but it was all show and no substance. You pay for decorated ice basically. Waiter was quick to try to take menus and not let us order food had to remind him we wanted to order and to give us glasses for the water.

Inside Passage is like stepping into another world, part tiki bar, part underwater fantasy. The décor is stunning and fully immersive, with little details everywhere that make the whole place feel magical.
The cocktails are creative, fun, and beautifully presented in unique glassware and themed mugs. They’re on the pricier side (around $20–25 each), but you’re paying as much for the experience as the drink itself. Every sip feels like part of the show.
Service was excellent, staff were attentive, friendly, and clearly enjoy adding to the atmosphere. Overall, it’s not just a bar, it’s an experience worth checking out at least once. Definitely planning to come back.

Super awesome place!! Unfortunately hampered by a few problems.

Got 3 drinks, the oyster shooter was absolutely fantastic and the other two were just okay. Ice is great but they do go overboard here.

The staff is great and the small appetizer I ordered was also wonderful.

The 20% surcharge here is the biggest issue. The drinks will run you 30+ dollars/drink with this practice. If the drinks were cheaper it wouldn’t be a problem but they are pricy to start, even compared to most other tiki bars. Actually come to think of it, this is the most expensive tiki bars among the five others I have visited in the PNW and that is before the additional 20% markup.

The glassware will run you 85 - 115 bucks from the menu prices but guess what? An additional 20% is also tacked on the these tiki mugs even though they are literally taken from the shelf and handed to you. This means that a tiki mug here will run you 102 - 138 dollars a mug before tax. Same with shirts, magnets, etc.

Strange business model that doesn’t necessarily affect the tourist cash flow absolutely without a doubt deters locals from frequenting.

We had a wonderful time here! The atmosphere was fantastic and really well done. The drinks were really fun, unique, delicious, and on theme. They were a little expensive, but that's to be expected. Our server was really kind and helpful.

Pirates of the Caribbean meets 20,000 leagues under the sea one of the most incredible bars that I have been to in a very long time. Great customer service and incredible presentation. I would highly recommend it. We will definitely be back.
