We tried the set for Seattle dinner week. Loved the Sumibi flavor on the meat. The induction was well done and the store not Smokey at all. The meat quality was good. The marinade could be a little sweeter to be more like Japanese yakiniku. Also personally would prefer no furikake on the rice. Whole point is eating it with the meat but I’ll know to ask for that next time. Favorite cut in this set was the kalbi.

Don’t get me wrong with the food. You get what you pay for. High quality meat! Delicious food. But the worst is the service! We walked in for table of 2. The manager walked us to the table. The server took our order, the meat came out first than the appetizer and then the drinks… maybe that their type of service that I never had it before anywhere else. Everything was ok until we almost finished our bbq meat, we still have some appetizers on the table, our drinks were half full.. and the manager came in with the bill and two tiny lime plushie compliments that we did not ask for and not even asked us that we want a bill or not. Left the bill on the table and left. The worst service ever i experience. We were SHOCK!! What a terrible service. After 10mins he came back and said sorry that rushing us because he had the reso after us. Our meal was just almost 1 hour. Never ever recommended this place to everyone!

Disappointing Experience! I had high hopes for after seeing all the buzz on social media, but my experience left me extremely disappointed. My boyfriend and I decided to try it out without a reservation, hoping to enjoy a meal there.
Upon arrival, we learned that there were no available reservations for the evening. We asked the hostess if there was any chance we could reserve a table for that night, and to our surprise, she informed us that there were no spots available. However, after checking online, we discovered that there were indeed reservation times open.
It felt as though she simply didn’t want to serve us, which was incredibly frustrating. We were genuinely excited to try the food and support a new local business, but the lack of transparency and hospitality left a bad taste in our mouths. I won’t be returning, and I can’t recommend this place based on our experience.

Maybe my favorite restaurant, period. Cook at your table, but when you leave, you and your crew will not smell like you did. Trust me, this is a huge deal.

This is my second time dining here. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed. Both times we came with a group of friends. Everyone always had a great experience! The service is top notch! The food is amazing!! Must try the sesame panda cotta as dessert!!
