Nothing standout about the menu. Cuts of meat are solid. However the service is truly awful, especially for a $70-100/pp restaurant.

The main (meat) took 30 minutes to arrive. Rice (it was cold on arrival) and sides came out within minutes— I guess I don’t want to eat cold rice with my hot food.

The genz wait staff appears annoyed with you in every interaction, rarely check in and unceremoniously drop off the check w/o being asked.
had a lovely dinner here. the quality of the meats were great, cocktails were well balanced, and the service was on point. they changed our grill without us having to ask, so we could enjoy the clean flavor of the meats. we were celebrating a birthday, and they were so kind to bring a dessert to celebrate.
Their meat is high quality, which reflects also on the prices. It’s awesome to find a Japanese barbecue with the quality in town. We ordered creamy Mentaiko udon, and a Seattle restaurant week $65 menu including four types of beef, miso soup, rice, and 2 balls of Takoyaki. Note that regarding the bill, the tip suggestions are after tax, NOT pre-tax. Street parking is difficult. The reservation requires to put a credit card but did not charge before the meal.
