I like going to their happy hour (430-630 everyday) and there's usually a group of people waiting for them to open. If I can't sit down, I'll pick up a bento box for $16. They have a couple choices and you get a lot of food. The potato croquettes are one of my favorite side dishes.

Everything was AMAZING. Pork belly and chicken thigh skewers and sashimi were our favs! The sashimi was such great quality for an insane price.
Ordering style is to order a bunch of small things as you eat. Each plate is very affordable and of exceptional quality. Service was amazing and very friendly. We had trouble finding an Izakaya in Chinatown as all of them were very small and exclusive, and this one was an amazing pick. Can’t wait to come back here next time I’m in Seattle.

Fantastic pork belly skewers, salmon & mackerel! Attentive staff and the other skewers were also delicious, but ordered another round of the pork belly skewers.

There's something for everyone on the menu, no matter what you're craving. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. Our go-to place for Japanese food.
Food was pretty good. The kalbi, yakiton and yakitori were the standouts. Sushi was ok too.
Came here for the first time to try out the happy hour menu and OMG everything was great!!! Yakitori skewers were cooked perfect and seasoning wasn’t overpowering as well. The Agedashi Tofu was the best one I’ve ever had and honestly would go back to this place just for it. The tartare was also so yummy. Overall, great vibes and consistent great food.

The food was good but not amazing. There's just a LOT of competition for good Japanese food on 45th. The service was a bit rough; they seem either disorganized or maybe just understaffed.

I dream about the food here. I love that we can come and order a variety of things and it doesn't break the bank. The kushiyaki is my go-to, and my partner swears by the sushi. Nice selection of sake and drinks. Service is nice and quick. Their site says they offer an authentic izakaya experience, and I'd say that's accurate. If you're unfamiliar with izakaya, that means you'll need to flag a server down if you need something (it's very easy to do here, lots of servers working when we go, and always very nice). They get very busy during peak times, so if you don't want to wait for a table to open up, I suggest arriving at open or going during a non-busy time. Even when busy though, food comes out in a timely manner.

The prices here are really reasonable for the quality of Japanese food. We had sashimi, and the grilled meats and vegetables. It was really good, I came by before the cut off time for happy hour, so we ordered sake and Sapporo and some apps. I definitely will come back.
