Very disappointed in our order at the Marysville Ivar's. Used to love Ivar's but the fish pieces were 1/2 the size as they used to be and mostly breading rather than fish. We were both shocked as you used to be able to count on a consistent product. Waste of money on the 3 piece dinners

I wasn't impressed at all from this place. It's unfortunate cause I would love to walk here, but the fish and chips were underwhelming. The portions were small for the price, but the taste did not make up for it.

Having lived in Australia, I've always had low expectations for fish & chips in North America. However, this place surprised me with its delicious clam chowder. While the bread that came with the clam chowder wasn't anything special, the chowder itself was so thick and creamy that I would definitely want to have it again when I'm in Seattle. Additionally, the staff here were very friendly and did a great job explaining the food, even for someone like me who was new to Seattle.

This is the 2nd time going here but this time around was awful. I brought 7 people & the fish was so bland, no seasoning, dry, and I’m positive the halibut was not halibut. To make things worse, the guy taking our order was obviously high on something, he kept falling asleep standing up at the counter and doing all the tweaker jaw movements. Gross. As much as I paid for all of us & gave them a tip, I felt ripped off. I’ll make sure everyone I know does not come here.

Had gone to Ivan’s in South Hill ( Puyallup) and did not want to leave Seattle with a bad taste in my mouth, so I tried the one at Pile Market…It was excellent!!Got an order of clams and the salmon & chips….YUM!!!Made up for the bad order the week before.I will be back to Seattle next April on my Residential Cruise ship, will be sure to tell everyone on my ship to go to Ivars there along the waterfront.
Wheelchair accessibility: I am in a wheelchair and it was super easy to order, no doors to deal with, people working there were super nice, my food was fresh and made to perfection!

The fish on the fish and chips we ordered is not the fish we expected. Ivar's fish is usually battered fish, the fish was breaded ? and over cooked. The coleslaw had a big chunk of un-shredded cabbage. Service was good, atmosphere good. It's the food that we go to the restaurant for first.P.S. Thank you to management for your response. It would be great to get the battered fish, or given the info on the menu that the fish is breaded. The serving of coleslaw should not have left the kitchen with a big chunk of cabbage that was not shredded.
