Gotta have Ivar's as often as I can when visiting Seattle area. The service here was fast and the employees were friendly. Fried clam strips are a favorite followed closely by chowder.

This place is super yummy. It is a casual restaurant where you order at the counter and then sit wherever you like. They have a large selection of seafood plates and a variety of sides. My food was fried perfectly and fresh. There is also all the sauces you would need and lemons. I highly recommend checking this place out if you want affordable yummy seafood.

The sign says “America’s best fish sandwich”. The fish sandwich lived up to the reputation, the fish and chips were also delicious. I tried the calamari, the flavor was memorable but what it brought to the table in flavor it lacked in portion size, even with a $3,00 price tag it’s not worth spending your hard earned money. The price of the fish sandwich did make up for the lackluster calamari portion. Overall great location although the layout was a bit awkward, the staff was very friendly and the restaurant itself was very clean.

I seem to eat here every 5 years.. I know it’s like a cult classic in Seattle but the food portions are somewhat small (especially the pieces of fish) and a bit overpriced for the size of the portions. I can usually split a regular sized entree with my husband and we’ll both get full. Not at this place! The kid size fish pieces we got were a tad on the rubbery side too 😬 The fries were delish though and Caesar salad wasn’t terrible. You’d think we’d at least be given the ketchup and Signature tarter sauces we ordered with our overpriced meal but they forgot to put it in our to go bag 🫤
