Placed an order online and went to pick it up at the time it stated it would be ready. Waited for 15 min before inquiring about it. Was told they were not going to make it since they were running low on food. This was at 6:15. They went ahead and made it for me but I ordered hush puppies and received cornbread instead and paid an extra $7 for Cajun fries and received regular fries.

Pros. The food is very very good, the staff is good, the people are nice, good music. Cons. I ate here twice with a problem with the smell, the place is not clean, and the floor is not clean. I noticed that they didn't sweep under the table, and I had to clean the table myself, the restroom was not clean, and there was no soap and no lock for the restroom door. Because the place has good food but is not clean I would rather order to go

After days reading good comments about this place, I decided to give it a chance last night. I tried the catfish sandwich and hushpuppies. It tasted really good, but it was a little pricey. However, my experience was ruined because the cashier applied a "large party" tip of 20% without my agreement. When I asked her back why she charged almost $5 (clearly I was not part of a big group nor didn't take my order seated), she said I was not charged at all. I didn't want to make a scene then, especially because I respect the community spirit of this business. After that gaslighting reply, I felt cheated and I really doubt I will be back.
