Brought guests, Ordered 2 Prime Porterhouse, rare & med rare, tenderloin side delicious, tender. The strip side was the chewiest gristled piece of prime steak I've ever tried to eat. For an almost $400 dinner for 4, I will be a long time before I return to Jak's & never order this again. So very disappointed. I felt I was scammed & given choice porterhouse, not prime. It is with sadness that I went to Jak's after learning they are closing the Laurelhurst location on January 7. It has been my favorite neighborhood hangout for years. Please consider opening in another close location for those of us who have loved Jak's for years.
I feel that the waitress that I had yesterday she was very focused on the two tables to my right and I didn't get the same kind of service that I watched them get and I was kind of disappointed because I've been coming here since the 90s and most of the time I come there on my birthday and I bring two people and I've always got good service but this particular day I felt like the service was crappy
