Overall, another excellent experience at Jak's!! Our server, Paige, was exceptional...efficient, friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu! Our food had a mixed review..The country fried steak was delicious, as always, and the French Dip sandwich was the best! The person who had the French Dip couldn't stop raving about it! The steak salad and steak and eggs were good but both diners felt the steak in both dishes was tough, not the norm for Jak's. All four diners will definitely return, love the new home!!

JaKs is one of just a few places in West Seattle, where I live, that I consider worthy of the cost. The ambiance is nice and the noise level is low. I must say I have dined there twice in two weeks and both times the women working reception were not as warm and friendly as expected. Overworked? I don't know. Both times I ordered the tenderloin medallions. The first time they were served as medallions. The second time it was a steak cut into three pieces that weren't close to the same size. Pretty haphazard. Not worthy of JaKs. Did they lose their experienced staff when they closed for the location change? That happens sometimes, although there has been enough time for JaKs to have trained any new staff.

Dinner with friends turned out to be a 5 star experience. The restaurant itself is beautiful and warm. The staff is some of the best out there. They were friendly, attentive, and overall made the evening perfect. Last but not least the food was exceptional. My filet was cooked to perfection and everyone else in my party raved about their selections. Highly recommend Jak's.

This has always been one of our top restaurants. We were excited to go to the new location, but after learning our favorite menu items were off. We were pretty bummed. The Skewers & Stuffed Halibut 🤌🏼Also, I don’t understand why you wouldn’t just increase your prices to include the salad and veg. This is something we loved about this steakhouse and set them apart from others. The service was great, and my Filet was top tier. The burger wasn’t as good as I remember and the rest of the food was meh.

This was our first time at the new Jak's location. The ambience was nice and the large booth tables, similar to the old location, give a bit of privacy yet are more comfortable. Food was good as always, but I really wanted to make a note of the service. I wish I had gotten the name of our server. He was wonderful! Jak's feels like casual fine dining. West Seattle loves you! Highly recommend.
