Super loud for some reason.8pm seating. Always great staff! Food favorites. It is our go to for special dinners.
Our party of four enjoyed a birthday dinner at Jak's recently. The staff was great, timing food and drink orders perfectly, giving us time to munch and visit. I had the steak salad, a plate of fresh greens, caramelized onions, tomatoes, romaine, balsamic vinaigrette, and crumbled blue cheese with a generous portion of perfectly prime sirloin. The menu offers 6 or 12 oz portions on the steak. For me, 6 oz. steak at $29 was more than enough. Jak's has a fun, casual vibe. Will definitely return.
This was my second time here and it was absolutely divine. Funny enough, Connor was my waiter the first time. He was attentive but also gave us room to breathe. My portion was perfect, neither generous nor greedy; I felt satiated. I ordered the Crab Cake Benedict and it was delectable without breaking the bank. The coffee was good enough to get 5 refills. I'm definitely driving 45 minutes from Monroe to brunch, people watch and shop at the farmers market right outside the restaurant.
Overall a good experience. The food was good although my steak was not cooked to temperature I had selected nor were the eggs but that was promptly remedied. The waiter was very pleasant and attentive in a non obtrusive way
Brunch at Jak's was a request from a friend to celebrate her birthday. Staff was lovely. the food was great. and the menu even said 'Happy Birthday'! we had a great time.
Wonderful Easter brunch! The best Crab Benedict I've ever had! Excellent service & atmosphere as well.
Always amazing! Our favorite place for brunch! Great for the entire family! Best servers in town too!!
My baked potato was undercooked in places but otherwise good Steak was good and Caesar salad excellent. Bread pudding was also good.
Made a reservation for 8pm and we were seated at 8:30. Knowing it was going to be very busy we made a reservation so we wouldn't have to wait 30 mins since some of our party wasn't able to stand that long. Food was great, service was as good as it could be given the volume.
Wife and I are visiting Seattle and decided to try here for our 2 year anniversary. We were seated promptly in the upper deck which felt cozy with an overlook of the street. Steaks were delivered quickly and were the correct temperature. They were flavorful and tender. For dessert we got the chocolate chip a la mode which was hot and tasty.
Parking: Paid parking lot behind the restaurant. Limited street parking.

Prices continue going up while portions continue to shrink. Now you get 1 side with your entree. Would not recommend until they get their act together.

Wheelchair accessibility: It's possible, but the entrance ramp is very narrow with a sharp corner. The restaurant itself is very crowded with little room for maneuvering. It's not the best choice for someone in a wheelchair.
