We came here before covid but forgot to leave a review of our experience. Everything was delicious and tasted fresh. We came back several times during our stay. Staff was super cool and food was amazing. Definitely recommend.

Raemie was the only server and it was a crowded night, but she took great care of us, the food was delicious, we will be back!

Visited during Taco Tuesday. I tried the Al Pastor tacos and Papas con Chorizo tacos and there were pretty good. However, I also tried the Carnitas tacos and those were superb: very tender and tasty carnitas! Plus, the green salsa is very good too; just beware because it's truly hot (great to help clear your sinuses). To drink, the horchata was good too. Next time, I need to try the rest of the tacos available... ;)

Food was okay but service was horrible. It took 30+ minutes for the waitress to finally come back with the check, despite asking her for it multiple times. It took a long time to get basics throughout the course of the meal, including glasses of water. I can find better food and service elsewhere, but this place was conveniently located next to Moore Theater. Likely won't return.

Their drinks are strong here! Let that be known and clear. Thats one thing i can not take away from here is the drinks do their job. Social distancing is enforced and you must wear a mask upon entry. I live in Texas so i was hesitant to try a Mexican restaurant but the pictures look so good! The tres salas it was not good. The red salsa was the best. The guacamole salsa was ehh. The dark salsa was just terrible. I think the chips could have a dash of salt because they are not salted. Not the end of the world but thats just my opinion. Now the carne asada tacos had the same nasty sauce as the tres salsa and ruined the tacos for me. The rice and beans that came with the plates did not taste seasoned. The barbacoa was plain as well. There was only one waiter too. I felt like she needed help because she also was the bartender and was serving a full house. I felt she had a rough night. The enchiladas didn't get finished by me and i love just love enchiladas. They didn't seem to season them at all not sure if they were short staffed or what but it was a bad showing for them. Especially for my first time and im not even from Seattle.
Came in for happy hour. Food was amazing so were the drinks. Service was good. Would definitely stop by again if in the area.

We've been craving Mexican food since we left So. Cal. at the end of June. Moderno Mexicano did not disappoint! We started with the Moderno #1, Guacamole & Chips and knew we were in the right place. We went straight to the tacos for dinner one order of Al Pastor Tacos and one order of Cochinita Pibil Pork Tacos. If you want some heat go for the Al Pastor and for just great flavor Cochinita. They also have a good selection of tequila's. We will definitely go back for more.
