We had a lunch reservation here on a Tuesday. They were busy. The noise level was moderate and the atmosphere was lively. The food here was good. It was just very slow. We probably spent close to 1 1/2 hrs here...and 20 minutes of it was eating. The drinks were good. The sushi and salmon tacos were fresh and tasty. We did not like the Crunchie rolls---the outside of the rolls is a deep fried breaded coating that is really thick and doesn't stay on the roll. Don't order the hamachi kama unless you've got a lot of time on your hands because that took close to 40 min to bring out. When we asked our server if everything was okay with our order, she informed us that we needed to be patient and it takes time to prepare. Otherwise, she did a good job, I guess, and made some good recommendations. Sometimes I think that being curt and being efficient are interchangeable...they are not.

Pleasantly surprised! My niece wanted sushi, and Japonessa happened to be the closest spot to us. We were surprised at the reasonable prices, so we decided to go in. The atmosphere was extremely relaxed and our waitress was wonderful. The food was delicious! We will absolutely be back.

We uber eats, they didn’t apply the discount they have for spicy tuna roll (2x1) , no chopsticks, no soy sauce. Really bad. We are not going to order again for sure.

Good service. The sever was knowledgeable and helpful not intrusive but available. Sushi (nigiri) was okay but average. No wasabi or individual dressing on any of the pieces. The fish didn’t stand out or surprise. Gari was slightly off, industrial quality and shredded. The ama ebi with fried heads was pre-fried, not fresh and room temperature. No dipping sauce. The Tamagotchi too sweet and industrial quality.
Honestly, the sushi has like no flavor. The other reviews are right! lol

Had dinner here with a group of four. We tried a sampler of popular sushi, miso soup, and cucumber rolls for our kid. Everything was fresh — the fish was soft and melted in the mouth. We only waited about 5–7 minutes for a table. Staff were super polite and patient. Great experience overall!

Had a great experience at this sushi spot near the Seattle harbour. I ordered The Union roll — absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The ambience was cozy and modern, making it a nice place to relax and enjoy a meal. Staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Convenient location if you’re exploring the waterfront area. Would definitely come back!
