i really liked our experience! They were really kind and took us in even tho we changed our 7:30 reservation to 5:00! they were very welcoming and kind! and even offered us a free complimentary birthday dessert! sushi was super delish to!
We had a reservation but showed up early. They still promptly sat us. Server was wonderful and helpful with suggestion. Calamari was good, the Brie app was delicious, gyozo good, and all rolls were very good except for the spider roll- didn't like it. The fry was too heavy and batter too thick. Otherwise- a good experience overall.
This was my second experience dining at Japonessa. The sushi and sashimi were outstanding and the service gracious and attentive. Wonderful option for pre-symphony dining or anytime you're downtown.
