I was originally born and raised in Lakeland, Fl so trust me when I say I’ve had some of the best Jamaican food in the US! You CANNOT EVER go wrong with this place ! Ribs falling off the bone with that good JERKKKKK that just make ya heart smile ! The jerk fried chicken also is something to die for ! No literally! Do something good for yourself and stop by jerk shack ! Vegan options too ! I’m literally about to make my wife’s day with this food !

This has to be the nastiest food
I got greens jerk Mac and jerk chicken with rice and peas

When I say I’m from Florida so I KNOW
Caribbean food this is not it!!!!!!

Once I seen them take a premade leg quarter out of a warming pot then put it in a deep fryer I knew I wasted my money.

The greens was absolute WATER no flavor at all

The Mac was baked but that’s the only good thing about it that was also nasty

Rice and peas were dry and lacked flavor. This isn’t authentic Caribbean food

Please do not waste your money take heed into my review please

Charges a 20% gratuity disguised as tax. Should straight up be illegal.

I had to check the other reviews to see if something was wrong with me.I usually don't do food reviews but this one needed to be done. I'm sure at some point when starting out the food was good.... but today 10.27.25 OMG! I cannot believe y'all are ok with putting out that awful food! No flavor in the rice and peas. I was expecting Atleast SALT. and the only flavor u could taste on the chicken was where the lady sprinkled the rub. And the Ribs! Dry, no seasoning...Simply Not edible. God bless the cashier who definitely tried with the customer service, but that lady that put the food together... she slapped that food in the plates exactly how it tasted. Smh. I can't believe I'm posting this but Bossman, there's alot of work to do. And take my foolish advise, make sure your employees taste the food that they are serving each day. That way if they won't eat it, then don't sell it. Unacceptable . And to put jamaica's name on that ish. Yow duh better man! If I didn't live so far I would give back those plates and demand a refund.

I can't even begin to describe how disgusting this food was. I almost never leave reviews but I had to take the time out. This food should not be served to humans nor should it be associated with the name anything Caribbean or Jamaican STOP IT!
The lady who put the food together was the 1st sign that the food would be flavorless. She literally throws the food in the plates with her gloved hands, the only thing she ised utensil with was the taste bad rice. To my fellow Jamaicans tan ah yuh yaad and cook cuz mi nuh know ah wah dis. The cashier guy was ok he only works there he tended to us nicely because deep down he probably knew this is bad food.

My fiancé took me while we was just visiting town and the location was asking from the decor outside to inside, the atmosphere, how clean it was and me being on a stick diet due to some medical issues they were very accommodating and even spoke with me one on one to make sure they would be able to accommodate . I highly recommend the place as well as the food was amazing !

I’m sorry but this was some of the worst Jamaican food I’ve had. The rice and beans didn’t taste like anything, I’ve actually never had rice and beans this bland. The chicken was super dry and lacked flavor. It tasted spiced but not seasoned well. The ribs were also dry, like they were smoked for too long.

Had a wonderful lunch meeting yesterday. Their branzino daily special with their houseblend of herb salt is one of the best and most well cooked fish dishes I’ve had (and I’m from a fishing village!). The staff were very friendly and helpful and checked in multiple times during our meal. Everything is well seasoned and flavorful. All three sauces that came with the special were well balanced and delicious. Highly recommend!

The Jerk Shack just catered our school’s Open House night and it was a great success. Delicious food, great portions, and even vegetarian options.

I am from Philly, we've visited Jamaica true authentic food. This place is not it. There was no Jerk flavor at all. The rice & beans no seasoning. The coleslaw was plain, instead you have 2 little cups of sauce. If im paying $60.00 for Jerk chicken I will like Jerk chicken. Their frozen drink was tasty. They either need a new chef/cook or marinate and season their food.

Best Jamaican food I've had in long time. I'm from the east coast. New York and Florida and I have here for 15 years. Best i had makes me feel like im home.

Food had no flavor, they need to marinate their meats, and add seasoning to their side. I didn't taste any salt, any spice... nothing.
