Amazing food, but questionable service fees. The jerk chicken and fish were 5/5 stars—perfectly cooked and flavorful. That said, they charge a mandatory 20% tip for what is basically a takeout experience (disposable containers/no table service). Great flavors, but be prepared for the 'hidden' cost at the counter.
Not carnivore friendly. I asked if I could have just the meat portion, but was told no. They apparently have a rule against serving just protein. It's too bad. I probably would have been a repeat customer. I cannot rate their food, but the service was disappointing to say the least.
I eat here often over the past two months. The food is delicious. I was shocked to see a review by Aujanae Mckinney trashing the food here. Firstly, the beans and rice aren't bland or dry. They are always perfect for me. As we know in Seattle, many restaurants in the CD do not use as much salt as some would like because black people respond to salt with high blood pressure. If you aren't aware of this Seattle response to salt please educate yourself. People in Seattle...
