I can only speak to the service right now because I phoned from Portland today needing a delivery to a meeting in Seattle. I called numerous places within 1.5 miles of the meeting spot and no one would deliver! I finally found Jimmy Johns on Madison and was fortunate enough to speak with Tanya! She not only answered before opening but was so helpful! Tanya working with the delivery driver and was able to get my order for 10 sandwiches confirmed for a 11:45 delivery. At 11:20 I got a call that the meeting was going to have 2 additional people. I called in a panic to the Madison location and just so happen the delivery driver (wish I had gotten his name) answered to phone and told me he was just walking out the door to deliver my order. When I told him I needed 2 more sandwiches he was so pleasant...said no problem he'd make 2 more and get them delivered on time! I felt so taken care of and would definitely recommend this location! Thanks ya'll, you saved my bacon!

Lights were off when we rolled up, sign on the door read "understaffed, please order in app". After ordering, we were told that there's no Turkey, ham, or tomatoes.Shop shouldn't be open if they don't have the basics.

Why have a phone if it never gets answered! Called four times and it just rings forever before it hangs up on me. Ordered 50 minutes ago from less than 2 miles away and am still waiting.

Service is horrible, I've ordered from here often. They do not answer the phones at this location ever. I'll ask for no onions and to cut my sandwich they'll give me onions and with no cut. I went to the store and the guy in back of the register looked like he was sleep before I walked up. Other guys making my sandwich looked very rough unkept and I didn't want him making my sandwich.

I'm a doula, and this is my go to place to eat, when I'm waiting in between births at Swedish hospital... if it's open of course. Love their sandwiches but it's always cold in the inside, when I dine it. It's gonna be great for the summer though! Also the workers are really nice and fast.

I'm outraged and unhappy with Jimmy John's 1221 Madison St. service. This place was a catastrophe, and I'm really dissatisfied.The predicted pick-up time was 11:30 AM as per my Uber App when I made the order around 10ish. This was the beginning of a nightmare that would test my tolerance and spoil my day.I was shocked when I got to Jimmy John's on time to pick up my order. The personnel claimed that they tried calling me, but my phone showed no missed calls or texts. They were delayed because they didn't had enough bread loaves and at 11:30 AM asked me if I want to cancel my order. I'm furious that they didn't tell me, wasting my time.To make things worse, my order was prepared after another anxious hour. Yes, they took an hour to finish my order that should have been done when I arrived. Incompetence and contempt for consumers' time is unacceptable.After two hours and forty-five minutes, I got my order at 12:45 PM. This delay ruined my schedule and left my people hungry and furious. Jimmy John's' failure to satisfy fundamental consumer standards is shocking.Dissatisfaction with the lack of communication, unjustified delay, and contempt for my time and convenience has lingered. I would strongly advise against patronizing this particular Jimmy John's location on 1221 Madison St. if you value prompt service and respect for your valuable time.Jimmy John's was a nightmare. The lack of communication, the lengthy wait, and the poor customer service have left me furious and dissatisfied. Avoid this place to avoid annoyance.

Awful service, rude staff, and bad experiences both in person or online. Placed an online order and never received it. Put on hold when I called the store 45 mins later and then the store stopped answering the phone altogether. Still haven’t received delivery. Unacceptable experience.

Totally botched an order expecting it to be one way with all these amenities when in fact it didn’t come with it but JJ was so nice and made an exception bc of my own stupidity! Great customer service and very pleasant. Thank you ! will be back.

Jimmy John’s is one of my favorite restaurants since when I was in Chicago. I went to this store today but one of the employee was super rude. She roar out to me for not opening the door for her friend. I don’t have an obligation to open the door for her friend, and also her friend is in front of me so I didn’t have a chance to help. Even her friend said nothing. I was shocked that an employee could treat customer like this. I was angry and she then talked to me normally like nothing happened but still no apologies. However, apart form the girl, other employees were nice and provide good service. I don’t know the hiring standard but please at lease make sure your employees don’t roar out to customers for no reason!
