I'm torn between 3 and 4 stars. Great downtown location across from the Library. Tons of selection for coffee, breakfast and lunch. I ordered my morning coffee and breakfast from the Ritual App for the first time (FYI, if you're dt Seattle, check out the app for preorder/pickup). I knew that they carry Mel's bfast wraps which I enjoy getting quick at Bartell's, so I was excited. I ordered a Vanilla Latte and the Denver style wrap. The staff seemed friendly and mostly inviting. My order was ready quickly and I was out the door. My latte was really good, perfectly balanced. My wrap however, was not. When I got to my office (too far to turn around and go back) the wrap was way overcooked/warmed. The tortilla was tough and hard and it had an almost fishy aroma to it. I had to throw it away and was so disappointed because generally I love Mel's wraps. I will give them another try if I am in that part of downtown and try something different, but likely will not go out of my way.

They have great coffee and fresh, hot bagels along with a huge selection of other pastries and baked items to choose from. For something savory, there are soups and sandwiches, too. The seating area is comfortable with chairs and tables for laptops, and sofas. There is also seating outside with a view of downtown Seattle.

The Baristas here are the best. They always remember your drink and know your name. I've been coming here for about 4 years. Very happy with this coffee shop

Joelle's has it all! They have a wonderful selection of Espressos milk/flavor options. They have been very consistent with quality and taste! The baristas and manager at Joelle's always provide excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere, I love this cafe!

I was craving soup for lunch on a cold afternoon and this place had a good variety of soups. My overpriced Thai chicken curry was tasty, but at at $5.99 for an 8 oz cup, I won't be back. There are many other places nearby that offer a more filling lunch at this price range. My small soup only came with oyster crackers, not even a roll. Would have taken a bit of the sting off if they recommended a yelp check-in to get $1 off.

Stopped here on my last trip. Maybe the worst coffee and food I've had in the last 10 years. McDonald's is better. The service was just ok. But the decor was interesting. So if you want to look at some cool decorating and want coffee that tastes like Folgers instant, this is the place

This place has amazing soup. It absolutely has my favorite split pea, but all of them are great.

Love Joelle's! I have to fight off the urge to get a breakfast burrito from here every morning because the whole lobby smells like bacon . Big fan of their iced coffee, but they have a great selection of cafe drinks, breakfast, donuts lunch food. Staff is also amazing as well. If you order a breakfast burrito, be sure to ask for it extra warm otherwise parts of the inside may be a little cold.

Waiting for my boyfriend to get off work and needed a little pick me up. Order an iced vanilla latte and mini scone. Both are terrific! The outside patio is very comfortable in the Seattle sunshine and both seating areas aren't over crowded (visited around 2pm on a weekday). The mini scone is a great little treat with coffee. The lady who took my order at the front was very kind and welcoming, answered my couple of questions politely! The lady who made my coffee was also very friendly. I'll definitely be back!

Great soup! Reasonable price. Great location. I tried the Mediterranean Chicken and Rice. It was a meal! No need for a sandwich. It was hot and tasted great. The perfect lunch for this cold, rainy, windy weather.

the soups are good and the employees are very nice and helpful but I'm still trying to figure out how a 4.99 (the smallest) cup of soup rings up over $7.50?
