Delicious food for a little saloon. The chef had some great concepts and delivers.
Get the mozzarella sticks, they are out of this world delicious.

My review is about the policies and management there. There is a 25% gratuity for any tab that does not get chased out by the end of the night even though the sign on the wall says 20% what is absurd about this is that they pour and measure with a jigger for an exact shot. Not only that the drinks are expensive relative to seattle. For my Tito’s on the rocks drinks I had that night, not only did the bartender not have to do anything but pour an exact shot into ice. I ended up having to tip at least $3 per drink for that and I walked up to the bar to order all night so there was no added value on their end. Based on these practices I will never go back. I’m all for tipping appropriately and used to bartend once upon a time, but this is egregious. If you want a bar that’s only talent is to say that it’s the “oldest bar in seattle” that it’s literally the only allure to this place. Food is just average bar food. Drinks they measure exact shots which is horrible… service is forgettable. Do yourself a favor and go down the street for plenty of better options for food and drinks. This ain’t it!

I went to Jules Maes Saloon after a show in Georgetown with a few friends and it was ABSOLUTELY amazing. Fun bar staff (even though they got slammed late at night), really high quality cocktails (one of the best manhattans I've had in awhile), and the FOOD. Wow. The fried chicken and waffle sandwich was a hit and I've never had mozz sticks of that caliber. I can't wait to tell all my friends to get down to this place!

So glad this treasure was saved for future generations to enjoy the oldest bar in Seattle. And a 7 min walk from the giant hat and boots.

Went there for a Premier League game Sunday morning. Giant projectors with surround sound to enjoy the game, the breakfast was amazing and the service was impeccable.Highly recommend for anyone looking to watch EPL Sundays.

On of the oldest bars in Seattle. A gem in Georgetown! Lots of live entertainment. Food is great. Elevated pub food. Order the cheese sticks. The only thing that would make them better is to put the marinara in the microwave for a second or two. Cold marinara isn't the best. The staff is so friendly. All of them. Love JM!!!

We loooove Jules Maes Saloon, Jell-O shots and live piano, and mostly the best bartenders (shoutout to Lauren for making this our new favorite bar!!)

This historic bar used to be one of the great options in Georgetown for dinner. A few years ago it changed ownership, and while the name and ambiance were kept the same, new owner changed the menu. It's pretty much just like every other bar menu that isn't noteworthy, burgers, sandwiches, etc.

The biggest issue is that there are lame vegetarian options: a pretty mediocre sandwich and typical flatbreads. So if you're looking for something interesting or with protein, you're SOL. And they refuse to accommodate ANY requests to make a vegetarian version. At first when they reopened, I was attracted to their mac n cheese trio (three cups of different flavors, usually two have meat), and twice I ordered it with vegetarian changes that I enjoyed, with very accommodating service.

For some reason, the last 3 times I've gone they refused to make changes to any menu item I asked about. And I mean any changes at all - including just giving me 3 cups of the vegetarian mac n cheese variety instead of one of each, OR EVEN just giving me one cup of the vegetarian flavor as a side. They also refused to give me a veggie burger patty as a side with a salad. This is so absurd that I have to assume management is incompetent at restaurant inventory.

Vegetarian options: Not great. Cheese focused flatbreads, veggie melt. Very uninspired and the veggie melt was something I could make better at home. Soup and mac n cheese always have meat.

Such a cool place! You can feel the history of the building. The staff were amazing. You need to get the mozzarella logs! The crunch is something to dream about.
