For a bar this place has shockingly good food. Even the cheese sticks are made in-house. No Sysco pre-packaged frozen stuff. Such a breath of fresh air in 2026. Please go here and support a local place that makes almost everything from scratch. We need more places like this.

The Breakfast Sampler is the best deal in Seattle. The chicken is amazingly seasoned and tender! Love this place.

Amazing atmosphere. A saloon. But the music is modern. Amazing drinks. Great food. No wait. Very quiet. They have booths, bar seating, so much table space. The customer service was so good. I will be back for sure.

Worst service in Seattle. Been here on several occasions and the service sucked EVERY TIME!!!

It was a slow evening and yet it was evident the place had been a more popular spot in the past. The claim of oldest bar in Seattle isn't really enough to make me a frequent visitor. The food was good but not exceptional. Service was okay but friendly. Parking would have been horrendous had it not been for our handicap placard.

I am glad to see this is still open. When I came for dinner, I noticed the chicken fried steak was their signature dish. I'm not a chicken fried steak guy at all but when the menu boasts of it, I had to try it. I am so glad I did... the fennel gravy was to die for.

Went there to see a show, it was great, and so was everything else. Great gem in Georgetown.

My son took me out for a birthday brunch.
The food was great, and they had cheese grits!
Not many places have grits in this part of the country.

One could really feel the history in this place. Just north of Boeing Feild, this little gem has good beers on tap, excellent kitchen and big screen TV in the back to watch the Mariners game. The are some pinball games in the back and a performance space for The Drunken Owl Theater. Plenty of seating in the front bar area, but it does not feel crowded. Definitely going again!
