I prefer the old american concept, service is good, but probably they confuse being friendly with an actual service.
Best breakfast we’ve had in our neighborhood since moving here a few months ago. The nopales special was awesome and the french toast was just right! New favorite spot, for sure.

They accidentally gave me pancakes with gluten after I let them know I have a severe allergy (celiac).
It's a good thing I confirmed again before eating, which made them double check and realize their mistake. Really disappointed, I could have gotten very sick
I haven’t had chilaquiles like this since my grandma passed. Awesome place. Warm people.

Had a very mediocre breakfast here today. Eggs were undercooked, syrup wasn’t heated, and the pancakes were just alright.
Stopped here on a whim with a friend. We had their "Chicken Fried Steak" and their "Swedish Crepes"
The food was amazing. And their "homemade blackberry butter" (included with the crepes, and I got it as a side for my english muffin) blew my mind. Two meals and coffee cost us about 45 with tip.

A number of GF options
Restaurantji Recommends
This place is great for vegan and GF options, but also has meat and gluten options too! Their gf smoke salmon Benedict was really yummy, and my mom said good vegan chorizo was hard to find but they have it here! Service was great and loved the classic diner feel. Yum!
Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free options. Seems they account for cross contamination on their labelling as well

We ordered the chicken and waffles and it was a disappointment. The chicken had no seasoning whatsoever on it, not even salt. The waffle was pretty good and the gravy was tasty but the chicken, the star of the show wasn’t seasoned. It was a flattened breast cutlet. I most definitely wouldn’t order it again.

This is a reboot of Julia's. Some of the original menu is still there. Some Mexican influenced items have been added as well. I saw items from that part of the menu and they smelled really good. Overall, what I had seemed like standard breakfast food. Not bad at all. Also, it's not outstanding. Service was friendly. If I go back, I'm definitely going to try the desayuno menu.
