Just Poke Queen Anne

New employee need retraining. This was my third time coming here and engaging with a new employee. Usually I have very good experience but I bit into a piece of avocado seed. The employee was struggling to cut a avocado that was hard and just plopped it on without cutting it because they got frustrated. They should of paused and thought outside the box. (Grab a new avocado to speed up process or take time to finish the current one with a different method than what they were trying. ) Also the toppings weren't placed on like the picture and just plopped together randomly. Usually your team does really well with laying everything out. Food is still delicious though. I would recommend watching your new employee plate the different bowls to make sure it meets quality standards though. I know that this a franchise but Japanese food has always been known to be created with soul and appearance is important as well. The employee doesn't look happy working here and overwhelmed. Unsure if poor training or just not a good fit.

They are supposed to be open until 8:00 PM. I went to the Queen Anne store on a Monday at 7:40 PM and they told me they were closed. They should change all their signage and online postings to reflect the real closing time.

Love the food here but service is always hit/miss as there’s always new staff working whenever we come by and they are mostly young folks who obviously rather be elsewhere.

We walked past the store twice last week during working hours and both times they were closed. Phone line also seems disconnected. Hoping it doesn’t shut down as it’s one of our favorite healthy options in Queen Anne but unfortunately it seems imminent.

The Poke I ordered ended up being soggy at the bottom with too much sauce. It’s common sense that all you need to do is drizzle it on lightly on top. Instead it was pooled at the bottom, making the rice all soggy and overpowering the other ingredients.But the worst part about this place was the order I placed for pickup was missing an item. Apparently since they were out of supplies. There was no attempt made on their part to alert me to this before I arrived or to scratch that charge. I didn’t realize this until I had reached my car and went back into the restaurant to either receive the item or get it refunded. The lady working the front apologized and informed me that the item would be refunded to my account. As proof of this she gave me a small business card letting me know the item wasn’t available…………………..…….no I’m not kidding …………….a card ………….to let me know the item was not available at this time……………….……right because I wouldn’t have known this otherwise. What is this place.So of course I get the receipt the next day to confirm the charge. And what do you know…………. I was still charged for the item. To make matters worse the lady asked me if I would like to order more food as a replacement………of course because since you got my order wrong the first time I'm going to reward you with buying more food. Call it fraud or theft, whatever the case, they’ve got some very special people working here.

I usually love coming in here but today’s visit was rough. Both young kids running the place with unwelcoming attitudes rushing us through the process.They barely could talk to us just gesturing at food items mostly.We wonder if they’ve been trained.No hard feelings just not a great experience. Food is great though and that’s the only positive.

poke here is not very good :(

Let me tell you about my last two visits.I usually walk in and wonder why the shop is empty - nobody behind the counter, and just a few customers sitting down idling. Oh wait! After a few moments, when it's clear that I'm actually considering buying poke, and I'm willing to wait around for a moment, one of the idling potheads will sigh, audibly, stand up from their laptops, drop their headphones, and slouch over to stand behind the counter.My experience rarely turns upward here. It's like I'm a dentist pulling teeth; the attendant will sigh, or roll their eyes, or rush you through every step of the way. Do you want to ask about which sauces are available? "Hey man, there's a sign right there." is the response, delivered with attitude.Once you've finished inconveniencing the duo, who wear no uniforms nor aprons nor hair nets or hats, will ring you up and before you've gotten out the door - yup, you guessed it. Back at the laptop, headphones on, jacket up, hood pulled up.Who owns this place? Do they understand that this puts customers off? Once was bad, but twice - I'm done visiting this shop. It just feels unwelcome.

Store hours are clearly not as advertised at QA location. Walked in at 7:30 and employee said they’re closed? Please have accurate hours on your site. Bummer. Lost a potential customer!

Poke place ran out of wasabi, still cannot believe this. Moreover I need to wait half an hour for just a bowl of poke!

While I love the food, tonight I walked into the restaurant and all three staff members were sitting down playing cards in the seating area. They welcomed me in but weren’t in a big hurry to take my order. I could barely understand what the person who helped me was saying as he was asking me questions to take my order. I’ll definitely go back because the food is yummy and quick and easy but they need to work on their customer service!

The guys working on 6.6 were very cool and efficient. Did not convey that typical abrasive or disingenuous vibe that Seattle, WA has a reputation for. Was there for maybe 15 minutes, and they consistently provided good customer care to the store patrons.Kept the space clean, prep areas well-stocked, and music was decent.Tips:Those waters are a little expensive, maybe carry Smart Water or boxed water instead.Smoke behind the shop not in front.
