Absolutely amazing. Drove 1950 miles (each way) for this and Taku, for my daughter’s graduation present. It was worth it. Chef was better in person than expected even.

Fantastic pizza! I've never had Detroit style pizza so no idea if this is authentic. We had The Dodger and The Hot Neighbor and preferred the latter. The dough is thick but light and chewy. Whatever cheese they use is amazing on pizza. It's stretchy and chewy and doesn't fall off the pizza with each bite like you get with chain restaurants. The burnt cheese bits on the ends are worthy of being their own dish. The pizza is way more filling than I expected. We ordered two for 2 adults and a child and took an entire pizza home. The chicken wings were excellent as well. Perfectly crispy on the outside and moist and juicy inside.Overall, I'd say it's a little pricey for pizza, but it's also not the kind of pizza you're ordering on a whim. The space allows kids and there's a separate section that is 21+. Order by QR code or using the ordering screen located to the left of the pick-up counter.Chef Shota was around while we were there and took the time to chat briefly with us and take a photo. He's as friendly as he appears on TV. My son was excited that he got to talk to the chef.Kid-friendliness: You can dine indoors with your kids.

A very good take on Detroit style pizza. Super crispy edges and unique flavors/toppings. Plus, it’s inside the Brewlab, so the beers are on point also.

What a hidden gem! Kobo's pizza crust is detroitesque perfection: thick, yet light, fluffy, and practically breathing hot steam, yet also sporting delightfully crisp brown edges. I got the Dodger, and the combination of toppings was brilliant and innovative. I can't wait to be back and try their other recipes.

Don't come here expecting traditional pizza, but you will not be disappointed with the pizza you do receive. We had the Dodger and it was a one of a kind flavor with the sweetness of the short rib and saltiness of the complimentary ingredients. The crust was light and airy and although we are more of a Chicago pizza family- this just really worked!

If you're a Top Chef fan you might see Chef Shota here. He's out chatting with people, usually moving between Kobo and Taku next door.I've never had pizza like this but could definitely see it being extremely satisfying paired with a night out with friends or on a date. This is rectangular filling deep dish pizza. In place of pizza sauce ours had fancy condiments. We got the Dodger. It's more than enough to share for 3. Also really liked the kale Caesar.Service here is by QR code, but we weren't really sure how we'd know it was ready. Once it was ready, you just walk up to find it, but no one talked to you about how to do it. I imagine on busy nights that's a pro though. It wasn't too busy, we didn't need a reservation on a Friday.I liked the soft lighting and comfortability of the space. You could bring a game here and have a lovely evening . Its style is rustic industrial. It's 21+, so get take out with kids.Parking is really hard. I recommend using the garage at QFC a couple blocks down.

Friendly A.

Got the dodger it was super salty and not very textually satisfying. It was made quick and the short rib was fine but overall the crust was hard and the cheese at least on that pie just didn't work. I feel like one of the more basic pizzas would've led have been better but I still think the crust ain't for me.

So good and such a unique pizza option for Seattle. I absolutely loved the cheese pizza.

Fantastic flatbready, fluffy pizza with interesting and different toppings that work surprisingly well together.I had the one with kimchi and pineapple and the spices were right on point. A little bit on the expensive side, but we'll worth a visit!

Mid. I've had better, I've had worse. We got the cheese pizza. It was a bit heavy on the cheese and light on sauce. The dough was fine. If you're going to get Detroit style pizza, Dino's is a better option. Overall kind of pricey for what you're getting. I don't plan on going back, but I won't object to trying it again if the opportunity arises.

Excellent fresh take on pizza. I liked it. The bread was light and crispy. A perfect food to have while drinking some beers at the Brewlab.

The service is fast and friendly. Nothing bad or amazing to talk here. Ambiance is quite nice as it is in a brewery setting. You also have the option to eat outside if you have pets or the sun is out shining. Now the pizza, I am a die hard Neapolitan style pizza... I like those airy ginormous crust with the fresh tomatoe, basil, and anchovies.... But I have to hand it to the chef for making a Japanese inspire pizza... the crust was chewy and thick... almost reminds me of mochi but in bread form! It is quite unique and I highly recommend it. I tried the one with the miso sauce as that seems to be a stand out ingredient... it was good ... very rich, it had some ranch like dressing... I am looking forward to trying all their other flavors!

It's pan pizza. Everything you would expect from that style of pizza. The gimmicky ingredients worked together, but wasn't impressed over all. Three stars.
