Good selection of foods and helpful service but in the end the cinnamon roll was more dry sawdust than juicy sweet roll. Plastic fork I was given wouldn’t even penetrate it and had to throw it away.
Willing to try (other) items again though.

This German bakery and cafe has a poster of known Nazi sympathizer Zelensky hanging on their wall with the caption "HOPE". This place is not somewhere I feel comfortable bringing my Jewish friends. I will not be returning.
Also, a latte was $7.50 before tip, that's ridiculous.

My mocha was beyond perfect.
But the employees are always so laxidazical. Yesterday the employees were sitting on the counter. Just kinda gross. And they arent very helpful our suggestive with their products.
I love this company for what they do for the community and I love that they hire super young people but I wish they trained them to have more awareness.
But 2 year old does really love the play area they have here. So, I'll totally be back but it sucks that the employees are just so not interested in customer service.
Kid-friendliness: Theres a play area. Not amazing, but it has books and bead mazes and a play oven.

I Irdered ahead to make sure they had what I needed and they gave me the wrong amount. Then when I tried to clarify my coffee was a to go order, the barista was very rude and even mocked me. I will not go back.

I spent a day here waiting for my car to get fixed and it was such a lovely place to work, eat, and experience the neighborhood. Apart from the yummy pastries, fresh squeezed juice, and sweet employees, I witnessed so much community in the hours I was there. Middle school friends running into each other after 50 years, neighbors discussing kids enrichment activities for their block, and lots of first names and how are yous. What a great spot!
I lived in LC for years and years. The LCW cookie was always a favorite, but the prices are now too high to justify. I recently stopped by when I happened to be back in the area but had to leave with a case sticker shock. I used to pick up half a dozen to enjoy and share, but now I'll have to just drive right on by.
