Decided to book a reservation for a birthday dinner and they were super sweet. Received complimentary champagne and a cute “Happy Birthday” dessert with vanilla ice cream.

Food was delicious! Everyone got something different and it was all tasty. Cocktails were inventive and tasty too. Customer service A+.

This was a great start to the night and they made my birthday feel special. Totally recommend!

My first time ever at Kalabaw Kitchen & Bar in Seattle Washington , WA. Mine's vacation mode.. an experience in this evening (Dinner) , delicious food, excellent service, and festive atmosphere, look so cozy and very clean. Food so fresh and great taste that I ever had ordered Appetizer like lectus wrapped with Shitake 🍄 mushrooms, Shell Crab with Curry Powder and Chicken Khao Sai...all of dishes are yumm!!,. The owners so kindly , they going out to asked customer like me , that How the food? so I love ❤️ this Resraurant , the location in downtown. When I am finished to my dinner I ordered some food to take out like dry pork and the Northern Sausages. So I Will be back again for sure!!

Visited the Nestled in the heart of Seattle’s vibrant downtown Belltown, Kalabaw Bar & Kitchen offers an inviting escape with its chic, dimly lit ambiance that feels both intimate and lively.

The menu is a delightful fusion of Southeast Asian flavors, blending Thai, Filipino, and innovative twists that cater to every palate, including vegan and gluten-free options. I started with the Kalabaw Bibb Lettuce Wraps, which arrived fresh and bursting with savory notes of herbs and grilled proteins, perfectly balanced and addictive. The star of the evening was the mango and taro sticky rice dessert—sweet, creamy, and generously portioned, earning a solid 10/10 for its authentic yet elevated taste.

What truly elevated the experience was the gracious owner, Chef Supanut, who personally stopped by our table to chat about the inspirations behind the dishes and ensure we were thrilled with every bite. The attentive staff complemented this warmth, making our group feel like cherished regulars from the moment we walked in.

Kalabaw isn’t just a meal; it’s a memorable culinary adventure that I’ll be raving about and returning to soon.

Ordered delivery. Terrible food quality and taste. Insanely overpriced. the Shan Curry was the one thing that looked edible, and it was stupidly spicy. Can’t eat any of it

Just terrible! Noodles overcooked and turned into one giant gelatinous block of goo. Chicken and shrimp overcooked. Everything was super sweet, Even the gai lan, tasted like dessert. Just a terrible eating experience!!

We have been meaning to stop by, so finally did. Our server was friendly and efficient. Large variety of food options and everything was delicious. The cocktails were strong and tasty. They have a lot of different seating configurations, so they can seat larger groups, which is nice. I definitely want to come back to try other menu items.

One of our favourite places to eat on the 1st Ave. They always deliver good service, nice ambiance and great food! The Shan Curry and the bread that comes with it is mind blowing. They don't shy away from serving hot/spicy food and do it well.

The Halo Halo is not at all like what you would find in the Philippines. There are no beans, candied fruits, ube ice cream, ube halaya and no ice. It's more representative of a Chinese dessert soup where it's mostly the small white tapioca pearls. It, for some reason has corn in it for sweetness as opposed to condensed milk and table cream. There are chunks of ube / purple sweet potato, but the overwhelming flavour is the vanilla(?) ice cream. The ice cream itself is good quality and enjoyable.

The entrees were good and the Ube milk punch was delicious. Pandan Lemonade was not exciting. I'd come back here for the ambiance and drinks mostly. Maybe their other desserts were good.
