Just love this spot. Great bartenders, friendly patrons, good yet simple food and a awesome building. Also if you're into f1 they definitely have it on! Cheer's

One thing I learned for the future is to always eat beforehand before coming here for trivia. The food here is pretty awful.
I had the Aussie meat pie - which if you're an Australian restaurant, the one thing you should be able to do decently, is Aussie food, right? Unfortunately, not here
This meat pie was not good. It was doused in a gravy that was sweeter than normal and too salty. At least it had some flavor though.
The 'meat pie' was topped with a huge amount of mashed potatoes. I actually couldn't even tell that the pie was in there at first because of how much mashed potatoes were on there. And these were some of the blandest mashed potatoes I've ever had. It literally just tasted like nothing. The peas in there didn't help either. No seasoning, very little butter, it was just unappealing.
The meat might have been the only ok part. The bacon was a little bit crispy, and the beef inside the pie was fine.
Also, the grilled veggies were fine as well
The pie was crazy soft on the outside - which is not a good thing. Firstly, it's so miniscule, which you notice after you eat the mashed potatoes. Secondly, there's basically no textural difference between that and the potatoes. The bottom evokes feelings of wet cardboard.
For $20, it's at least decent sized, I guess? Not a lot of positives here
Overall, it's going to take every other food spot in the city closing before I order food during trivia here again. 2.5/10

One of the bartenders (the female) was completely irrational and unqualified… took forever to make drinks we had to wait for 30 minutes to get drinks and she randomly refused to serve me my drink… (I was sober and bored due to waiting in line for 30mins didn’t do anything wrong)… it’s a fun place for college students to party (the DJ was nice!) but that one bartender was completely irrational and ruined the overall service (everyone else were professional and nice)

Shuffle and foot tapping dance floor. Will get mad at you for running their pool table. Sub-par security management whose main tactic is barrel rolling with compliant drunks over petite women down the concrete stairs. Lost my hat. 1 star.

Tonight the bouncers closed the line off at 1:27 am. That’s fine, but there was a light skinned bouncer who LAUGHED in my face when I asked him to let 5 more people in. A “no” would suffice. He was not big enough to be a bouncer. The man has not hit triceps in the last month. Pencil arms. There was a bouncer front-lining for him and the guy front-lining was genuinely jacked. The man who laughed at me was not. The man who laughed at me was wearing a tight shirt that did him no favors. His arms were rectangles. He looked like he collected carts at Safeway before tonight.
You wouldn’t know it, but This is where all the college kids party on weekends. It is insane, in a good way. Fun atmosphere

I’ve always loved this bar and was excited to bring my friend, who was visiting from Guam, to share the experience. Unfortunately, our visit was cut short due to an uncomfortable and disappointing interaction with the bartender.
When my friend presented his Guam ID, the bartender questioned its validity and asked if he had a passport. My friend politely explained that Guam is a U.S. territory and that residents are U.S. citizens. Instead of acknowledging the explanation, the bartender — a shorter white man with a man bun and dangly earrings — responded with, “Washington is weird and I don’t need the attitude.”
This felt like a defensive reaction, likely stemming from embarrassment over not knowing that Guam is part of the U.S. Rather than escalate the situation, we chose to leave. I told the bartender, “We’re not spending our money at a place where we’re spoken to like this.” It was the most respectful way we could remove ourselves from a situation that had turned needlessly hostile.
I’m sharing this because it was a disappointing experience, especially at a place I’ve always enjoyed. A little humility and willingness to learn go a long way especially in hospitality. To the bartender in question: I hope you take a moment to reflect on how a simple, respectful conversation turned into something unnecessarily negative you know exactly who you are.

Amazing atmosphere and glad that they had Happy Dads!
Brad (owner) is a top bloke and runs a great pub. Fantastic atmosphere and a great venue full of genuine Aussie and Kiwi decor. The highlight was the signed Richie Benaud photo that has gone strrrraight to the pool room.
I strongly recommend this venue to anyone visiting Seattle.

Fun college bar and very busy. I was just dropping off my daughter and picked her up at closing. It was a zoo out front so be prepared and expect chaos

Just arrived from Australia today. After a bit of rest from flights, we thought we'd have a taste of home.
The styling and decor felt like a good outback Aussie pub. Unfortunately, the meatpies tasted like they were cooked in a microwave rather than properly baked in an oven. Definitely not as authentic as hoped.

First time going to this bar. Realized i lost my wallet there last night after i left so i called them to see if anybody turned it in. The bartender didnt have any wallets turned in but she actually went around the bar and where i was sitting to look for it which she ended up finding! I wasn’t expecting them to pick up the phone let alone actually looking for my wallet. Great service and i really appreciate it! The entire staff was really kind. Also the first time i’ve been to a bar/club that the bouncers are not pretentious douchebags. Pretty cool bar in a historic building which is also very interesting. I’ll definitely be coming back!
