Food was below average and not as good as the reviews here. Everything was cold and the seaweed salad just had the worst texture and smell. It was impossible to eat. Cold fries, chicken, miso soup and rice.
This is my first Google restaurant review. That's how bad my meal at Katsu Burger was earlier today.
I have small kids, so my tastes now reflect that (i.e., this ain't no gourmet based review). We've been to this KB a few times in the past - didn't wow me, but the kids liked it. But today... let's count the ways it disappointed:
Price point - for the amount of $ they charge, the quality of the food is insulting. I could have gotten the whole meal for a third of the price at a supermarket prepared foods area, which is about the quality of...
Sushi - supermarket prepared foods sushi level. Rice was a bit old/not moist. Raw fish was tired and a bit dry. To be fair, above gas station sushi (again, I'm not expecting high brow food here), but I'm paying for restaurant sushi, not supermarket sushi.
Sides - old, cold, dried out, and sad. This included the burger. It's clear the food had been sitting a bit before it even came out (and there were only 2 other parties of 2-3 people there - who were already served). The fries were cold. The edamame looked sad and tired.
And oh yeah, you have to bus your own dishes.
Not sure if today was an off day or what, but it'll be our last visit to Katsu Burger.
We had a pretty disappointing experience here. We waited a long time for our food to come out and when it did, the fries were ice cold. The kitchen remade them for us, but then they were overdone and bland. I wouldn't normally care, but adding fries and a fountain soda is $9+ extra. The burgers were fine. Mine would have been better if the cheese was melted or warm and not a cold block. Overall, not worth the money we paid.
Vegetarian options: Tofu and Impossible burgers available
Dietary restrictions: The burgers are easily customizable

Had this awhile back and had to have it again when I was back in town. Had the Katsu Curry this time which gave what I expected. The server (Yeong I believe) was super friendly and hospitable beyond what I expected! Perhaps he just liked us or we were a big group but he served us some complementary sides that were delicious. The fried gyoza was bomb. The whole place was decorated for Halloween. I hope to return to this place sooner than later.

We came once a long time ago (pre-kids) and just forgot about the place. Recently, in a Facebook parents group someone mentioned this restaurant being super kid friendly with a playroom in the back. What a great experience! The food was solid, and we got to enjoy it because our daughter had her own entertainment ?

Sitting in Katsu Burger right now. 35 minutes since we ordered. Been looking at 2/3's of our dinner getting cold in the kitchen for 15 minutes.
5 minutes later cold food shows up.
It's not particularly busy. Dirty tables not bussed in over an hour. Employees are working hard but not efficiently.

After going to the fitness center in Ballard, I searched for a quick meal and suddenly...
I went there because I was craving pork cutlet, and the restaurant was so big, cozy, and nice, and I was so happy and happy to meet the precious Korean owner. The owner was so kind. I really wanted to eat all the menu items and sushi, but I couldn't eat sushi because I was pregnant... I had to exercise restraint, so I held on and ate it the next time I got the chance. I ordered chicken cutlet. The owner even gave me a croquette to congratulate me on my pregnancy, and it was so delicious!!!! ㅠㅠㅠ So touching?
The pork cutlet set meal was really delicious, and there was even a drink for dessert.
It was so, so touching.
I don't think there's any restaurant in America that treated me so kindly, but they made me feel like I was in Korea, and I really enjoyed my meal~~~^*^
Lady boss, are you there for lunch too~~~
I'm going to say thank you and have brunch!! Haha ?

Very clean and very nice place and helpful employees
Food was pretty darn good. I didn't realize every single patty would literally be katsu style, but that's on me. Food was fresh!
I'm leaving this review for 2 things: the strawberry shortcake shake, which was amazing....and the service. I don't know how the gentleman was in front with the glasses, but he was incredibly polite and accommodating. To top it off, he offered us free fries, unsolicited. Such a generous gesture and they were very good to boot! I will absolutely be back. Also, the kiddo was very impressed by his meal.

This is one of the friendliest restaurants in Seattle! Really kind and generous service, amazing quality food at very reasonable prices. My daughter loves it and so do I. They also have good deals for delivery through the apps. Love this place! And also my daughter got a free milkshake just because it was her first day of school.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
