Today I celebrated St.Patricks day at Kells Irish Pub! This was my first time here and the experience was wonderful. The staff were warm and welcoming as was the location. I tried shepherds pie for the first time and that was delicious. Even sober I had a wonderful time. They stock non alcoholic Guinness and that was perfect 🍀 wonderful place and great food. Highly recommend.
We went in early on a Friday evening. It was not as busy as it should have been, maybe due to a chilly night in February. We started in the bar and had an Irish Stout and a couple of Irish coffees, all great. Van Morrison and other Irish artists on the sound system sounded great. We moved to the dining room for dinner. Alex is an amazing bartender. Happy, helpful, attentive, easy conversation. We were visiting from North Carolina a few years ago on the weekend when daylight savings ended and the Google opening times and the clocks at all the bars were off. We called and the owner understood and let us come in and have a Guinness and watch NFL. So we came back and found the place is still great! And reserved a table for Super Bowl tomorrow!
