I wish I could give zero stars, but unfortunately, that’s not an option. Our visit to this restaurant was memorable for all the wrong reasons.
First off, the bartender served us a tasting and literally didn’t know there was alcohol in one of the drinks he gave us. Not exactly confidence-inspiring when it comes to the service.
Then it got even worse: we ordered three jello shots and, incredibly, two of them arrived with actual mold on top. The third wasn’t any better because instead of a jello shot, we got a ketchup packet. Yes, you read that right—a ketchup packet.
Needless to say, we didn’t stick around to see what else could go wrong. Proceed at your own risk if you’re considering dining here!

This bar was super friendly! My experience isn’t gonna fit most people’s as I came in had some chips and a sprite and colored for a bit to sober up before driving home. It was early in the night so pretty empty which was great. Bartender checked in on me often. I plan to stop by again and try some drinks this time

The burgers here are fantastic. The patties are incredibly juicy and well-seasoned. Staff are friendly, patient with questions, and make good recommendations if you are stuck between a couple of options. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming, the kind of spot where you can show up in casual clothes. If in the mood for a proper burger and fries, this place is absolutely worth the stop.

Fantastic place with friendly faces, good music, great booze, and decent food. The prices are pretty good as well for a bar downtown. Shoutout to Adam for being a great bartender and host!

Giving it one star for food and service, want to give no stars. The bartender was nice at first, after we ordered we got ignored the rest of the time. Made eye contact with the bartender to order, and he turned to walk in the opposite direction just to lean on the counter to talk to his co worker.. the food gave me food poisoning keeping me up, throwing up until 3am. Will never return. And it’s overpriced for reheated microwaved food.

We had a group gathering at King Leroy since it is very close to Amazon It is actually located right next to the Amazon Spheres in downtown Seattle.
Frankly speaking, it is really not an ideal place for a big group because there isn’t a separate area for large parties. The layout is a bit odd too as it seems to share space with a burger shop. And that makes the atmosphere a little confusing.
When it comes to food, the menu does not offer much variety. Most of the dishes taste like typical American bar food that’s been prepped and reheated. Nothing stood out, and I probably would not come here just for the food unless it is convenient for meeting Amazonians since it is on the first floor of one of their buildings.
The highlight of the visit was definitely the drinks. Their house cocktails were excellent. I tried the Hibiscus Paloma, which was really good, but the standout was the Lavender French. I know lavender drinks are popular these days, but this one was VERY AMAZING. I’d actually come back to King Leroy just for that cocktail.

Great place for hanging out before Seahawks games. Free parking, great food, awesome staff. We come here every time before a game. Highly recommend!
Favorite hideaway in Seattle. Great drinks, great food, TVs and it’s in the heart of downtown.
Giving this place one star seems too generous.
On a visit to Seattle we wandered into this place in the hopes of getting some food and drink. Sure, we found seats at the bar, but after that we were completely ignored by the TWO people behind the bar (while others were getting served without issue). We eventually got our first drink, and then were once again ignored while everyone else was getting refills and food. At one point one of the staff spent a ridiculously long time replacing the letters on the tap list board instead of possibly checking to see if ANYONE (we were literally directly behind him) needed any drinks/food.
The service quality was non-existent, and the overall attitude seemed to scream pretentious unless you were a regular.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
There are SO many other genuinely friendly and welcoming establishments in Seattle there is really no reason to go here imo.

First time at King Leroy and overall pretty good! The Seattle Dog and Chopped Cheese both had great flavor, though the chopped cheese definitely needs sturdier bread—it fell apart quick. Jalapeño hush puppies were solid, just could’ve used more cheese.
Wanted to try the wings but $18 for 6 felt a little steep, so I’ll be back during happy hour to grab them at a better price. Flavor-wise though, they’re on the right track and I’d come back to try more!

Perfect comfortable place to visit if you’re in the neighborhood. Good positive vibes. Friendly employees and patrons. Modern low key hip hop music was playing on this visit. Burger place next door as well but they also have their own food.

Chill little place to grab a drink in SLU and catch a game without dealing with big crowds. Drink menu was really good, the hibiscus paloma just tastes like summertime on the patio.

Stumbled into King Leroy while on a solo day running errands. Sat at the bar which was extremely comfortable and inviting with comfortable chairs. The bartender was super friendly and served up a great dirty martini! Ordered the Jalapeno cheddar Hush Puppies- which if I being honest I found salty and a bit undercooked. Definitely not a bad experience overall however, would definitely return!

Burnt the catfish. Then wanted a tip for ignoring us the whole time. Overpriced and not tasty

Yummy cocktails! Definitely on the pricey side but this place is a vibe. If you don’t get seating near the front at the bar, there’s more seating on the Great State Burger side.
