It is always a challenge for me to eat Asian food of any type, as I cannot eat any soy sauce. We went to this restaurant on Wednesday evening and back again on Friday for lunch. To say they worked with us on my allergy would be an understatement. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had amazing food and a wonderful experience! Tye (sp) took care of us on the first visit. You would be hard pressed to find a better server. Each recommendation given turned out to be wonderful. I just cannot say enough good things about this place. Please go check them out! You will not be disappointed.

It was not a great bowl of ramen and the price just made me feel even worse.

Miso ramen, plenty oily and thick as it should be but had a shimmer to it that didn't seem quite right. Menma was maybe over-marinated or simply slimy with no bite to it. Whereas the noodles were quite undercooked, which some may prefer, but it was pretty noticeable to me. Especially after seeing the big boxes of frozen noodles all over the place. It was a mess in there.

Chashu was exactly as others have described, tough, hard to eat. Maybe some of the worst I've had in the city so far. Some people are in it for the chashu, I am not.

Gyoza was underwhelming but fine, sauce was simply not good to me, I would have preferred normal soy sauce. Too much vinegar.

Overall, a ramen and gyoza was $32 are you kidding me? This is a chain! Thirty-two dollars...

Service wasn't as bad as others have mentioned but I have had bad service here before in the past. I just can't justify a $17 bowl of ramen that's mediocre, mediocre service and asking for a tip. I'm rating 2 stars because I think the average rating of 4.4 right now is outrageous.

The chicken karaage and takoyaki are always solid choices, and the garlic tonkotsu ramen has a nice, flavorful broth. However, the chashu quality has noticeably declined over the last few visits, which takes away from an otherwise good dish.

Although maybe more importantly, dinner service on this visit (3/12/25) was frustratingly slow and inattentive. My party was overlooked multiple times and there was a clear lack of urgency or follow-through by the wait staff (though the busser was great). It took repeated efforts to get basic service, and by the end, the experience felt more like an afterthought than hospitality.

Kizuki still has good food, but the declining meat quality and today's poor service made this visit a let-down and has me hesitant on returning.

Broth is good but not that much better than your standard authentic Ramen shop. My noodles were slightly too hard and the pork was ridiculously lean and difficult to chew.

Somehow the appetizers were surprisingly good, probably some of the better Takoyaki and Karaage I've had from a Ramen joint.

Service was subpar, our waitress checked on us once and then pretty much disappeared. Several minutes after we finished our meal we had to get up and find her to get our bill.

Excellent broth….. tons of depth and unique flavor. I was disappointed in the Pork.. pretty thin for a cut which is probably why it was over cooked and very hard to eat. The soft boiled egg was delightful…so much so that I ordered a second one.

Garlic tonkotsu shoyu ramen has great broth. Unfortunately the pork has no taste with unusual texture.

Some of the worst ramen in cap hill, go to ooink or danbo instead.

Good ramen spot with solid vegan options. Kale noodles and plant based pork belly are excellent here.

I placed an online order for pick up and I got there a few minutes early so I was ok waiting till my pick up time but I was on my half hour lunch and waited 20 minutes and it was evident that my order wasn’t even started. They were probably low on staff that day but I wasn’t even able to get a refund so $20 down the drain.

Came here with my brother really hoping for some good ramen. But unfortunately, the noodles were hard, and the pork was very chewy... maybe we came on the wrong night? I looked at my brother and we both said " this ramen sucks." We were pretty bummed..
