I live in Kona and love the food here. It's like home! Food is one. Staff are great. Atmosphere reminds me of being Kona side too.

What a crock. I asked for a burger patty and a side of kulua pig and was charged $25 I’m not cheap but really! Could’ve just been the person who took my order, seemed clueless. Food was legit however.

Please try your beef stew. Gravy is WAAAYY too salty.
Also please check the proportion of ingredients. My beef stew had one piece of carrot and one small piece of potato.

My husband and I are originally from Hawai’i so we are accustomed to the discrimination towards Micronesians there. But we didn’t want that hovering over our expectations for this place because it’s the mainland and ALL the islanders here get along. My SIL had called ahead to give them a heads up that we were a much larger group. We show up, half of us are standing in the entrance and half of us are standing out in the rain & cold. Instead of greeting us with a kind smile to let us know that it would take a moment for them to get our tables together - we are met with hostility by the lady waiting tables. Yelling at us to wait in our rides because we were blocking the entrance. Mind you, the place wasn’t even busy! Safe to say that we ended up taking our business elsewhere. The people here are NO different than the hostile ones back in Hawai’i. If you’re Micro - don’t even bother with this place.

Food was ok. I had chicken strips and fries. I was looking forward to the Kona coffee and they forgot to give it to me. Maybe breakfast would be better.
