Pretty average Korean food place. Food was okay, but not good for the price and subpar service. Would not come here again personally. Note: If you are sensitive to spicy food, be careful of what you order.

My friend took me here for my first time. We ordered beef and spicy tofu soup. The food was good with smaller portion. We had about 6-7 small dishes. It was fast and service was great. Definitely will come back again.

I am not an expert in Korean foods, but I’ve eaten a lot of tofu and kimchi in my life. This was some of the best kimchi I’ve ever had. Dumplings and tofu in my soup were excellent. All of the sides were delicious. My friends both liked their dishes (kimchi fried rice and Japchae) as well. If I lived in Seattle then I’d certainly frequent this place, but alas, I was just visiting.

Beloved favorite of basically every UW alum. Service is terrible. Minimum ONE order PER person or no refills on banchan. Pay at register when you're done. Soondubu is too spicy. Rice cake & dumpling soup is too salty. Japchae is good but super soupy. If not for the pajeon (Korean pancake- both the side dish & the seafood pancake on the menu), prob worth going elsewhere.

Food was delicious, but the disappointment arose when I realized they did not want to provide just side dishes to go, which was disheartening.

Flavors are on point!!! Fresh and delicious banchan to compliment the meal. You can ask for the soup to be made with water instead of beef broth if you're veggie. What more could I ask for!!

Delicious! Get a lot per order with such great flavor. Everything was ready super fast. Ordered #26 mild (tteokbokki)- the little bit of heat was perfect complement to the colder, rainy weather. Didn't have to wait to sit, not as busy earlier in day. My friend loved her mixed tofu soup with all the sides.

Came in for lunch/dinner because we were enticed by the signs for cold noodles plastered on the door. Simple Korean restaurant that also does counter service for to go orders. I ordered spicy cold noodles which is available during the warmer months only. The menu says April-October, but they were already serving it (as of March 24) which was nice. The spicy cold noodles was a nice combo of sweet and spicy. There were only 2 little baby pieces of beef so was a bit disappointed about that, but the overall dish was still good nonetheless. The spicy noodles also come with a bowl of icy soup on the side so you can dilute the spiciness as you wish. I appreciated that and the soup was really good too. The noodles were also nice and chewy which I love. The banchan provided was also good, their kimchi is on the spicier side, but oh so good. Braised Potatoes were okay, and I liked the green onion pancake bites that they gave as well. Service was a bit nonexistent. People came to take our order, give banchan, water, our dishes, and that was it. No one came by to maybe refill our banchan :c Overall, pretty good food. Its location in the u district makes it really convenient and I appreciate the fact that they provide counter service for separate to go orders but it'd be nice if their service was more attentive.

We walked in and got seated right away! Small restaurant but very cozy and I enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere! Great place to hang out and have good food! We ordered two of the Galbi LA Short Ribs and one order of the kimchi Pork belly stir fry. The ribs were tender and easy to tear off the bone, great portion. The pork belly was so good, a little saltier than I expected but I didnt mind it. Pork was juicy and had a nice bite to it! Our meal came with rice, and side dishes (potato, veggie pancake, bean sprouts, kimchi), I loved the potato side dish! Quality korean food, will definitely be back!

It’s been a go-to since college days. Something you can rely on if you’re in the area and don’t know what to eat. They’ve kept things up over the years. Simple bancban/side dishes and their purple rice is the best. I do love their spicy bbq pork and bibimbap. Price has gone up a lot tho like everything else. $22 for an entree with rice and side dishes along with milk tea isn’t too bad.

Quoted us a 20 minute wait time that ended up being >40 minutes, took 30 minutes to deliver our food, then 15 minutes into us eating, told us they’d be kicking us out in 10 minutes because they were closingTofu soups still had clumps of meat that weren’t separated when they added the meat in frozen. They also forgot the egg…Ox bone soup had no ox bone. We asked the staff and they confirmed this. I’ve never seen this before in any other Korean restaurantBibimbap was perhaps the flattest bibimbap I’ve ever eaten

extremely rude every time i’ve gone. they will not communicate with you, and if you make an effort to communicate them, they are experts at ignoring you and making you feel awful. you will feel bad for asking basic questions, kinda like vindictive high school bullies. every time without fail, for years too. more than twice. please save yourself the grief of feeling awful about yourself and never go here. they will make you feel like you’re the problem, even when they have made a mistake or failed to communicate.
