Not really representative of Sri Lankan food, but it is a unique twist to a popular traditional dish. There was a bit too much onions in this (about half of my order had onions) and a lack of roti (which is supposed to be the main component).

Finally tried this at the Fremont market after seeing them there a couple times. Absolutely delicious and flavorful, super speedy service, and the perfect hot meal on a chilly day. I will definitely be back!

Tried this place in the Fremont Sunday market. It was my first time having Sri Lankan food. I enjoyed the mango chicken curry, all the toppings gave it a good crunch too! It tasted very fresh and was pretty healthy with all the different vegetables served with it.

Delicious and a great value

Amazing food and great guy who makes it. Tried mango chicken kottu with paneer cheese and eggs at queen anne farmers market, absolutely amazing. Highly recommend.

Complex, delicious food. But what I haven't heard anyone mention yet is just how FAST this food is prepared right in front of you. Highly recommended.

I see all five star reviews, except mine. And chose to pick up a meal there because I read rave reviews. Perhaps most people don't order the saag paneer? It was not a pretty sight - like a leftover cooked dish tossed into my compost bin - and perhaps that affected my perception. But I found my plate inedible. I don't usually toss food. Pouring a bitter saag paneer over crunchy vegetables and a few scraps of bread just looked and tasted bad to me. The Rice Krispies on top didn't change things. And it cost twenty bucks.

Excellent Sri Lankan food truck. We had the Seafood Curry which was very flavorful and a good portion.

Food is really good. Got the garlic lamb. Curry is really well spiced, lamb is not super gamey and surprisingly fatty. The meat and sauce is mixed with all sorts of veggies, rice, and topped with crunchy, airy puffed rice. It's the right amount of wet and crunchy. It was a little pricey at $17 but worth it.

Got the food at Phinney farmers market. The food was not flavourful. The base options are pre-made - with the roti and there is no "kothu" happening on the table. Couple of dables and a whole lot of cream and pori.Kothu was 17$ and 3$ for extra egg. Would not recommend the play for taste and price

Saw there's a Yelp site for Kottu. My only experience with Chef/owner Syd Suntha's mobile spot was back on 7/3/22 when he was adjacent to Chuck's Hop Shop in Greenwood. Never had Sri Lankan cuisine, but what I had was an explosion of flavor and textures. Watching him cook on the spot was also very mesmerizing. Amazing when at the time it was just him. Innovative chef and part of a culinary podcast. His Wu Tang Clan extravaganza last year with other chefs was also a huge success, as I recall. He's all over the greater Seattle area, so it's best to follow him via Instagram or his website.

Food was really good! Also veggie options (spinach paneer) that can be made vegan upon request. Super speedy and friendly service as well. Really reasonable prices for a large portion. It's a food truck so you get to watch it cooked in front of you, so ambiance-wise that's cool. They also had some helpful info, utensils, and dog treats off on the side table. Would definitely recommend!

We got the chance to eat here outside of Chuck's Hop Shop last Saturday. Without a doubt the best food truck in the city. I've never eaten anything like it, but I'll be back as often as I can.Had the garlic beef, but our group also got the mango chicken and the paneer curry (made vegan!), and it was all great. I literally made a yelp account to write this review! That's how good it is! Seriously stop reading this and go find him.
