We had the katsu curry, which was delicious and very authentic tasting, and the banana tempura with green tea ice cream and that was so good too!

Their appetizers are so good I tend to get 2-3 instead of an entree.
- Agedashi tofu: simple but great, they just mastered this one
- The blackcod cheek is astonishingly good, basically half (the protein portion of) a fancy fish entree
- The vegetable or shrimp tempura: solid, high-quality instance of the category
There's also some sort of mountain yam slime option that I would get at least once, just because it's interesting.

This is a solid little Japanese restaurant! It's not very fancy, but most of the menu is reliably good. The sukiyaki is my favorite thing to order here. It's amazing! A huge bowl that's hard to finish in one sitting- you will have delicious leftovers. The sushi is pretty good too! The pricing is pretty on par with Seattle, so no "deals" here in my opinion.

Great outdoor space in the summer! Food is what you expect of a sushi place plus a few hidden gems. The Ankima is great IF you put a little of everything on the plate in each bite, plus a tiny dash of soy sauce. The spider roll is gargantuan (I guess it's a tarantula). Get some chilled Otokoyama while there. Happy hour is also a good deal!

The raw fish is also fresh and delicious.
The Japanese chef's sushi making skills were excellent and he was friendly, so I really enjoyed the meal.
This is a restaurant I want to visit again.

Food was good, service okay. Sat in the enclosed outdoor area during a cold, rainy night. Heaters kept the area warm, but there was a bright exterior light that kept going on and off that would have been fine on or off, but was distracting bouncing between to the two states.

I absolutely love this place. I used to be a Musashi's follower, but I got tired of feeling like they were doing me a favor by serving me. Kozue welcomes you and honestly has amazing, fresh fish! Their sushi chef really knows what he is doing. Do yourself a favor and give it a try.

Love the outdoor space and friendly service. The outdoor patio was cozy even on a dreary rainy evening. It's so kid friendly too. Thank you!

If you want something unique and authentic, go for the banana blossom pad thai. I didn't take a picture when the food arrived. But you have the blossoms mostly cut away for you, and the spices are on a spoon, so you mix it together yourself.
