I think we had a bad experience compared to others. The place was on a nice little strip, although there wasn’t anyone there when we stopped in. We sat outside, because the inside looks cluttered and wasn’t very organized. As for the food, that’s probably the best thing about this place. We enjoyed our meals and they were tasty. One thing that was a little disturbing was one of the servers came out wearing gloves and started smoking. I sure hope they took the gloves off when they went back in and put on a new pair. The service was good, but the place could have been cleaner.

Every time I am in Seattle, I always make sure to come here at least once or twice. When we were here the last time we ate the fresh rolls and Green curry. Not only is this restaurant very reasonably priced, it is also in a great part of town with a nice laid-back patio. Every time we come here, the owner is very attentive and funny and full of life. The food is impeccable. The fresh rolls are some of the best appetizers I've had in my entire life as well. They come with tofu, carrots, and noodles as well as a warm spicy peanut sauce. Just typing here makes me want to go back again for lunch today because it is that good.!

I rarely feel compelled to leave a review but this lady kept yelling at the waiters in a way that made all costumers feel extremely uncomfortable. I wish I had taken a video of it.

Left early because the owner was screaming at her staff in front of the entire restaurant. Shameful.

I love this place!!! The food is delicious and the portions are satisfying. The little house feels like you're back in Thailand with your favorite Thai family taking care of you! If you're afraid of spice, get the lowest of stars and doctor it up yourself. If you love the heat, but don't want to be in pain, 3 stars works.

Got the pad thai and pad see ew, both were fantastic, the atmosphere is cozy and no frills but the food is worth checking out!

I LOVE Kwanjai Thai. Best noodles in Seattle hands down. You can taste the beautiful char from the wok… wow truly my favorite thai place i’ve ever been to. And i love the owners - so sweet and always remembers me even if I haven’t been in in a while. Classic seattle vibes, super homey and cute. I love eating here in the summer and sitting outside, but often get take out or go with friends. Fresh rolls and that PEANUT SAUCE is to die for. try the Phad Seew best in the city. I wish I lived closer but moved out of the neighborhood and miss it all the time. I make the treck sometimes and it’s always worth it.

Very casual good Thai food! Good prices! Large servings. The lady who is always there is straightforward and works hard. Some people say she’s rude. I thinks she’s trying to work fast and very sweet if you actually talk to her.

A loyal customer of Kwanjai Thai here! This review is long overdue. Johnny and his wife can really cook! Best pad thai I've eaten anywhere. Our usual order's pad thai(3 spicy), tofu tod, and chicken satay. We order during holidays, when relatives visit, or when we feel the need to reward ourselves. I definitely recommend them!

I went with my husband and food was okay. Server (I believe he was also the backhouse cook) was nice, but when the food came out the woman in charge brought it out, and my dish was not what I'd ordered. I let her know and she brought the check back to tell me that was what I ordered, and I let her know it wasn't. She then asked if I wanted to try it. I politely said no. From that point forward she was very rude. She was also loud and aggressive with other patrons. My husband and I were shocked at how rude she was. We won't be going back.
