About La Copa Cafe

La Copa Cafe is a nice neighborhood coffee shop located off NW 80th, offering a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The layout is a bit funky, with two different sections: one for ordering food and another for sitting down. The menu features a variety of dishes, including delicious homemade baked goods like quiche, banana bread, and amazing sandwiches, with recommendations to add extra meat and cheese. There is also a daily soup, such as tomato, lentil, or chili. Customers often enjoy a slice of quiche or a breakfast sandwich in the morning. While the cafe may be more expensive than other neighborhood spots, it is a hidden gem in Ballard that provides a laid-back experience.

Guests appreciate the delicious pastries, good coffee, and the filling pizza, making it a perfect spot to get some work done or catch up with friends. The coffee shake is noted for keeping visitors energized. There is plenty of seating both inside and in the cute but small backyard area, though guests are expected to bus their own tables. The cafe is accessible, but those needing assistance should bring a friend, as staff does not help with carrying food or drinks. Street parking is available. Overall, La Copa Cafe is a special place that many will visit often, enjoying the chill atmosphere and the art on the walls.

La Copa has the best coffee in the area. Their staff understands the science and art of pulling espresso shots and their machine is calibrated properly so your drink is well made.

They have a nice variety of food options made on premises and everything is delicious. Our favorites are the breakfast burritos (huge and yummy), the coffee cakes (flavors rotate), GF banana bread w/ chips, the danishes, the marzuka bars, the cookies, and the turkey pesto panini.
