They're ok, not good, not bad. Sandwich rolls will give your jaw a workout, but the ingredients are fine enough. Counter area is cramped. Old lady at the counter was visibly irritated when I asked for a bag to carry my purchases. Average Seattle experience.
Their hazelnut chocolate croissant used to be my favorite. It was shaped like the butter croissant, and filled with chocolate hazelnut ganache — super rich, buttery and flaky. Now it’s a pain au chocolate with a few hazelnuts on top, so the texture is softer, and the bottom of the croissant is too sweet.
Please bring back the old hazelnut croissant!

Loved the cannelé, it’s a hard pastry to execute. Their execution is pristine as good as bakeries I tried in Paris. Service was 💯 too with a lot of people there speaking French. As a French speaker I was delighted.
However the crème brûlée wasn’t it at all, the texture was off? Perhaps frozen at some point?
Yet to try the classic viennoiseries!
