Best happy hour in Seattle… maybe even the world?
A co-worker suggested this place to me so the wife and I went here for dinner Sunday evening around 6. There was plenty of parking in the lots behind the restaurant so we decided to bypass the outdoor patio seating and instead dined indoors. My wife ordered the smoked bologna sandwich with a side of yukon potato salad. I tried out the cornmeal crusted po'boy with the shoestring fries, house bbq rubbed. My po'boy sandwich was very tasty and filling, with the accompanying housemade tarter sauce really complimenting the sandwich. The smoked bologna sandwich, according to my wife, was one of the BEST bologna sandwiches she's ever eaten! 6 thick slices of quality smoked bologna were staked high on a brioche roll and the slaw, potatoe chips and spicy mustard all added to the flavor profile! The potato salad was slightly too dilly in flavor for our personal taste but overall we enjoyed the potatoes themselves. The fries were nice and crispy. We will visit this place again next time we want to dine over in West Seattle.

Food had a lot of great aspects including all the fun sauces. Fries and Shishito peppers were a highlight! Coming from the east coast I would describe their cheese steak as a steak sandwich.

Lady Jaye is a classic dinner spot. If there’s just two of you I recommend getting the meat +3 sides deal, you get a lot of food for a very good price! I always recommend checking out their special of the day, I have gotten it every time I’ve been in!

I’ve been here twice and had a Philly cheesesteak the first time and most recently, the wagyu cheeseburger. Both were phenomenal- the best I’ve had of both in the city.

We tried the meat and three with the pork and a bulgogi sandwich. Overall the sides were lackluster and the sandwich overwhelmingly salty. Prices were reasonable and the service was good, but the food just was ok, would go elsewhere for bbq!

This place has amazing food, like the smoked burger or the smoked baloney sandwiches. Their weekly specials and drinks are top notch. Service is amazing. The butcher shop is great for fun cuts you wouldn't find other places.

Food and service was good but what brought down my score was the fact that they charged extra money than what the receipt says. Make sure you get copies of your receipts and double check the posted amount, who knows how many others might be trying to get away with this

I came on a happy hour and ordered the wagyu chopped and cheese sandwich and a fried pepper side order. The fried peppers were pretty good nothing spectacular, but I was disappointed with the chopped Wagyu as it was not chopped, but actually ground hamburger, which is a big difference to me. You could not differentiate the difference between store-bought hamburger and what was in the sandwich with a thin slice of what look like American cheese melted on top, which was basically all that was in the sandwich. Not bad, but definitely not what I was expecting and not actually very good. They would do well to add either more cheese or chop the meat rather than grind it and maybe even put some of the peppers into the sandwich which I did manually, and it improved it immensely.

My wife and I were looking for something new for dinner so we jumped on our phones and found good reviews for Lady Jaye. We both ordered sandwiches (shrimp po boy, bulgogi melt) and what came out was a masterpiece! The food was fresh and flavorful. The portion was filling and we enjoyed the ambiance. If your in West Seattle or willing to drive to West Seattle you should stop in. You won't be disappointed!

The food is incredible! Melt in your mouth tender meats. (And a vegetarian option.)
I really appreciated their small mocktail selection although a bit of a hit- $12, for not having alcohol.
I will definitely check daily specials next time. Only Thursdays for burgers, which I went for on a Wednesday. It turned out great as I enjoyed my meal and was quite full without any sides.
85 outside and limited, or no air conditioning.
I am not a fan of the mix of processed foods and good food. I suspect some
people are into it, but not I. Why, put cheese Wiz on good beef? Or American cheese on anything in a restaurant.
The mocktail was fabulous, but over priced. 12 dollars...
So disappointed :(
