Parking situation is constantly a point of contention with delivery drivers parking in others' spots, non-parking spots and middle of the road, always blocking everyone in and out of the area.
It's been a safety issue and roads are all torn up from cars sitting on the pavement and large food delivery trucks making deliveries. I have already requested from the city to fill in the pot holes from all the damage.
The initial design and choice of location makes no sense. A food delivery pick-up hub, with ZERO parking spots? I primarily fault the initial planning; however, current management should work to find a solution. The ghost kitchens and delivery drivers are trying to earn a living but and there is no where for them to park. The issue with a lot of the gig-economy / lean operation, no one is reachable or held accountable for a systemic issue and everyone affected is getting frustrated.
The business should make an arrangement with 1515 Dexter Ave to rent parking spots from the empty lot there and then advise them to park there.
There is another new building being built on June street and will create even more congestion from illegal parking.

The delivery drivers are constantly parking in the alleyway, blocking all through traffic. What if we had an emergency? The drivers are also very aggressive and rude about it. I contacted city council and their solution is to start calling the police on them to ticket the drivers.

So I absolutely can not stand how the delivery drivers just park where ever they want, half the time they are blocking the alleyway making it impossible to get threw. If they were to all park in the vacant buildings parking lot next door it would make things so much better for all the people who live in the area and have to drive through the alley in order to get home

Ben’s Fast Food is some of the best delivery I’ve ever had. I’m kind of blown away by how good it is each time!!
There are several restaurants at Lake Union Eats but I have only tried Ben’s Fast Food. It is not just a healthy meal, they actually portion out how much greens and protein you should have in one meal. I usually never finish it because it is a large portion. It really does only take 10 min or less. Super simple process to pick up your food. I only have trouble sometimes when my code to pick up the food won’t load but there is a bell you can push for help.
