I like the pasteis de nata here more than some I've had in Portugal because there's a higher ratio of crust here

Always great to visit this shop at the market; their pastries (both sweet and savory) are always good, and the people are friendly and welcoming! My favorite is the Moroccan lamb roll (on the left in my picture)

Holy smokes this place sells some tasty things! Huge fan of the lamb curry ball and the tarts- so much so that I came back 3 days in a row.Would definitely give this place a shot if you’re walking around pike place!

Lands of the Origin and the owner was so nice and their food is great! Highly recommended to stop and get to know the business. It’s located in Pike Pace Market. BIPOC & woman run!

If you're in the Seattle area you MUST stop in, take a seat and enjoy a cup of coffee that has been hand roasted. You'll learn more about the history of coffee and the Ethiopian tradition of hand roasting. I took a guided tour (Coffee Crawl & VIP Morning in Pike Place Market.) that led me to this gem in the marketplace. The women in the shop are most humble and generous. While you're there try a lentil sambusa.

The best egg tart or should I say the best Portuguese egg tart in Seattle, and that is somewhat surprising since the main events seem to be African-inspired meaty or savory pies and pastries. The meat pies are quite filling -- one is almost a whole lunch and I'm a big guy. The lentil samosa was also really good.

The owner showed us an coffee ceremony and told us the story of the creation of coffee and the ceremony. The coffee and food was wonderful and we learned something new-- a lovely experience.

What a gem! The pasteia de nata was absolute perfection - custard filling and crust cooked beautifully and tasted authentic. The samosa was the best I've had in a while - lentils were spiced and flavor balanced. I can't wait to return and try more of the menu!

Pasteis de Nata is legit. Don't miss this!! Maste rolls her own dough so that it is crunchy, flaky, and it tastes amazing. The fried mproccan lamb rolls also authentic. Try the Ethiopian coffee to accompany your snack.
