Lantern Brewing is a genuinely amazing neighborhood taproom and brewery with excellent staff and great beers. It's a place that is almost aggressively local, in that almost every single item that goes into their beers and comprises their establishment comes from somewhere inside of Washington, which is a very deliberate decision that they expend a lot of effort to pursue. Baby and dog friendly spot that was very chill on a Friday night (which we liked). As a rare non-IPA fan in the PNW, I appreciated their selection of beers that were not all IPAs! Lots of Belgian and/or abbey style influence, some fruity /tart. Saw families drinking and having dinner with kids, which I loved more of the family scene. Most of my group ordered from the food truck, but there’s also a really yummy Indian Nepali place around the corner so I called in a takeout order...
