Excellent service, however for being a top restaurant in Seattle I thought that the flavor of the dishes would be more dynamic and complex.
Food was good, portions were too small and overpriced. We also got placed in a weird table by the bathrooms.
Wonderful service and delicious food, including graciously accommodating one gluten-free diner
Imaginative winter menu. Well-paced service. Engaging wait staff. Parking dicey in that part of town. Plan ahead.
Starting from the delicious Gin blueberries, cocktail, then mushrooms twill, rustic bread yummy. The escarole and leek soup were exceptional. I had the elk chop and a glass of nebbelio wine oh my goodness how delicious !! my husband had a pork belly which was also upstanding . Service was also exceptional.
Food quality was poor, service was bad with delays in getting to the table, taking the orders. Drinks came way later than food.
Wonderful experience from start to finish. Delicious food and outstanding, attentive service. We will definitely go back.
Overall fair experience. Salad was a big miss, not a good mix and croutons seem to be many days old. Steak was good. Dessert was fair, could have been more fresh or at least warm.
Such an amazing experience! One of the best most attentive waiters we have had. Everything was delicious.
The meal and service i had the opportunity to enjoy here was truly remarkable. I was served by Anna, who was very kind, I was never left too long and was assisted with my order when asked. The presentation of the prix fixe 4 course meal was beautiful. I chose the oyster, lobster champignon bisque, pork tenderloin with black lentil and toasted beets (special) and the great cheeses for my meal. I also purchased the purple people eater and a half glass of the Willamette Valley pinot noir. The oysters were medium sized and came with a lemon and hot sauce. I requested a mignonette and more lemons with accompany the oysters since the taste was not what I was expecting. The sous chef prepared one quickly and it tasted much better with the additional lemon and hot sauce. This was super kind of them to do and enhanced the taste much more. The bisque was very delicious and was my favorite...I loved the presentation and lobster within the bisque and on the side presentation. The pork tenderloin entrée was not my favorite...I prefer when its cooked in a way that can be easily sliced through with a sauce and there were more black lentils on the plate than needed that didnt add much flavor. The 3 cheese plate I took to go was nice in place of a sweet dessert. The bread basket that arrived with the first course was truly delicious. I truly enjoyed my visit and wish I had the room to eat it all at once but the late 8pm reservation and day of flying got the best of me!

Visited the Lark for the first time for a birthday celebration. The food and services were amazing. The four course meal was went worth the visit and I look forward to coming back.
I am not a fan of the star rating system; it tends to be misleading. Anyway, we have been dining at the Lark since it was that little restaurant servicing tapa like dishes. We continue to return, as we are visiting Seattle, every year or two. We have always enjoyed our meals and service. Our last meal was fine, better than many places, but we both found the dishes to be not up to the standards set for so many years by the Lark; something more than just a good dish. Also, and I know the problems with finding employees, but while our waiter was very nice, he and the others seemed so hurried. I remember our first meal at the new location, well before Covid, when the red headed waitress had the time to chat, making us feel like the meal was an event that she and we were both enjoying. Many years later, post Covid, I remember the lady owner coming upstairs to our table to spend time discussing our food and cocktails. These were the things missing in our last visit. I am optimistic, as we will return to the Lark again to hopefully find that gentile environment that makes a meal so enjoyable.
Great food and service in a comfortable atmosphere. However, prices are a bit spendy. Expect to pay well over $100 per person for a two course dinner without drinks or dessert.
Waited more than 30 minutes past reservation time to be seated. Drinks a bread another 20 minutes. Some of the food was excellent others just okay. Waiter didn't know what selections included gluten. For the price not nearly good enough. We have enjoyed it in the past, but we will not be back.
Expected more for a local sourced restaurant. No effort to connect the experience to the menu
